I don’t see how there is even a race: the Clintons OWN the Democratic party. It’s their personal possession.

National polls taken the year before an election are “clearly not a prediction of how they’re going to end up,” cautions political scientist Charles Franklin of the University of Wisconsin. “On the other hand, the national trends are a good indicator of whose messages are beginning to work and whose messages may be falling short.”

Well, break out the popcorn as we watch Demoncats scratch each other ???

Hillary has a fight on her hands for the nomination. She expected a coronation but I doubt she will breeze to the convention.

Just think how ugly Hilary already is, and how ugly she is going to get if Obama is a real challenge.

Bet the N word is bouncing off the walls at the Clinton household. We Know Bill uses it, and that Hilary uses anti-semitic slurs.

The articulate Irishman certainly has a chance against her. The dems want Gore as his running mate.

That poll also had a +5/-5 margin of error. Without seeing the questions it’s also difficult to judge whether or not it means anything. this one sounds like an outlier.

Actually, I think Obama would be a far more formidable candidate than Hillary. We have too many people in this country who would "feel" so righteous just for voting for a black person.

Someone will breeze into the convention. We haven't had a primary race in 50 years that wasn't done and kissed up well before the convention.

How ironic. An empty-suit Marxist vs. an overstuffed pant-suit Marxist.

I’ve got to admit, Obama is a thousand times more likable than the crazy-cow-hag. The dems would be insane to nominate such an arrogant pig, “when I’m president”... she sunk her campaign.

Think about it folks...
We share the highways with losers who will in fact vote for at least one of these worthless idiots.

"formidable"

Maybe. But remember there are millions of women who would vote for Hillary just because she is one. Or at least appears to be one. My guess is that voters perceive Hillary to be shrewder and tougher than Obama. She is certainly more calculating. And while he's a typical lib on everything, Obama is especially vague and mushy on defense. Many Dems who are not hard-core libs still care somewhat about defense.

Most Americans consider themselves to be conservative or moderate. How did Clinton and Obama vote in Congress?

In 2004 Clinton’s conservative voting ratio was 0. that means that Clinton never voted for any legislation considered to be a conservative issue.

In the last session of congress she moved to the right with a conservative voting rating of 9.

Obama is to the left of Clinton with an 8.

BTW The American Conservative Union rates congressmen on a scale of 0 to 100.

Words can not say how much I loathe and despise Hillary. I will be so happy the day that her presidential ambitions are dead and burried. And while I think Obama would make a horrible president, I could deal with him a lot more than she-b*tch. If Obama or Edwards is able to beat Hillary in the primaries, I will breathe a happy sigh of relief.

“If Obama or Edwards is able to beat Hillary in the primaries, I will breathe a happy sigh of relief.”

Don’t count Edwards out.

He’s slowly making his way back in, and could be the choice after these 2 beat each other up.

He’s ahead of them on health care with more specifics.

Not that I agree with any of them, but I like you want someone other than the beast. The thought of her/bill again is frightening.

Edwards could definently win the nomination. According to the latest poll, he’s pulled out to a double digit lead in Iowa. If he wins big there, that momentum would carry over into Nevada, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.

Another thing is that if we get to January 2008, and we see polls like we do now with Hillary losing to the top Republicans, while Edwards winning big, then I think that’ll bump Edwards up as well. Remember, Dems are a lot more likely than Republicans to go with the candidate they think has the best shot of winning in the general, even though it might not be the one they agree with on everything. Republicans have to have somebody who they agree with on most things.
