The first comment under the article, is that our Jim Robinson?
This is just disgusting. Scarborough ought to be made to issue a public apology to Jeri. Otherwise, Fred should pinch Joe’s head off, like you would do to any other blood-sucking little tick.

As if we needed this to complain about MSNBC. We should contact NBC or GE and tell them to cease broadcasting on MSNBC all together.
You stay classy Joe.
>>SCARBOROUGH: You think she thinks she works the pole? I mean, look at that guy. God bless him, I love his voice. But I mean, you know. He aint Robert Redford in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.<<
Clearly Joe A##hat doesn’t realize the sex appeal of an intelligent, well-spoken man whose mere presence commands your attention. Not to mention that voice!

Looks like one form of “reach around” to me...
Yes. Ol’ Fred should demand an apology.
Whatever happened to Scarbourough? When he first went on the air he was pushing all the right buttons and now he is right up there with Russert and Matthews. What a twerp.

It was a stupid comment, and it's possible something insinuating like that may have been Scarborough's intent, but there are fitness classes that teach women how to "work the pole." If the most common reference were to prostitutes, rather than to strippers, they wouldn't phrase it that way.
Scarborough has never been a class act. I doubt he had anything to do with Laurie Klausutis's death, but Wikipedia says, "In 2003, he joked about the incident with Don Imus on Imus' radio program." Imus made the joke but Scarborough went along. Now he's talked up as a replacement for Imus.
They deserve each other, but I don't know who else does.
Nose to nose, where’s the toes?
JUST SENT THIS LETTER...
Dear producers of MSNBC:
I am writing to complain in the strongest way I know about the crude, insinuating comment made by Joe Scarborough recently. This remark was in reference to the spouse of former Senator Fred Thompson. I trust you know what I am talking about, and will not dignify it by describing it in this letter.
No woman should be spoken about this way. No candidate should be subject to such ridicule. Such speech is beneath the dignity of an American broadcaster, especially a serious one.
Access to airwaves and cable broadcast is a privilege and a public trust, and should be used in the interest of the American people. Making shameful remarks is ungodly, profane, and never in the interest of our country. It cheapens our political process, erodes our thinking, and by doing so undermines our country. Mr. Scarborough and the producers ought to be ashamed.
I demand an immediate apology from the producers, and a sober, unqualified on-air apology from Mr. Scarborough. I will follow up on your response to this request in a community message board on the Internet, so that the greater community can see your response for themselves.
I do not wish Mr. Scarborough to experience what Mr. Imus has recently. For his sake, for the sake of your company’s reputation, and for the sake of your viewers, please apologize immediately, and pledge to never engage in this sort of behavior again.
I await your response.
Sincerely,
/signature/

Thanks, I emailed them a polite letter, expressing the hope that Scarborough will make an on-air apology to Ms. Thompson. If he doesn’t, I hope Fred tears him a new one. Attacking a guy’s wife when she hasn’t said a word (unlike POTUS #42’s shrew) is fair game for him to defend her most vigorously.
MEOW. Did you see the Boston column about Republican candidate’s wifes boobs? Chew those nails and spit ‘em out.
How many Scarborough viewers does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Both of them.
Those Ferengi like Kucinich have always harbored dangerous thoughts such as the following tenets:
A woman wearing clothes is like a man in the kitchen.
She can touch your lobes but never your latinum.
Old age and greed will always overcome youth and talent.
Pursue profit; women come later.
etc
The pole from a strip club that is used as part of their act.
He has a beautiful granddaughter doesn’t he?
