Hillary Supporter Rips Romney's Mormon Faith
Mitt Romney's visit to New Hampshire started on a sour note Tuesday when a restaurant patron declared he would not vote for the Republican presidential contender because of his faith.
"I'm one person who will not vote for a Mormon," Al Michaud of Dover shouted at Romney when the former Massachusetts governor approached him inside Harvey's Bakery. Romney was kicking off the second of two day's worth of campaign visits in the lead primary state.
Romney kept smiling as he asked, "Can I shake your hand anyway?"
Michaud replied, "No."
Michaud later told reporters he was not "a right-winger," alluding to some evangelical Christians who have compared Romney's faith to a cult. Instead, Michaud stated he was "a liberal."
He said he planned to vote for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., should she win the Democratic presidential nomination.
If elected, Romney would be the first Mormon to serve in the White House.

Imagine if someone stood up and refused to shake Obamas hand while saying, Im one person who will not vote for a [black]. Or to Clinton, Im one person who will not vote for a [woman]. Or to McCain, Im one person who will not vote for a [senior citizen]. Or to Rudy, Im one person who will not vote for a [catholic].
The real question is will Senator condemn her supporters actions!
Maybe a Mitt plant.
Whatever.
This Michaud person is a bum who wonders the streets collecting garbage and probably lives off welfare. Typical Hillary supporter.
According to the AP article some people there accuse him of spreading disease. Romney might have dodged a bullet here. Hopefully Michaud will get a chance to shake hillary’s hands sometime.
Once again, Hitlery shows her true colors (hiding behind a subordinate).
Redrum redrum.....
.....Oh! Not that Shining. Sorry, my mistake. LOL
One source was drudge the other newsmax. titles were different. Common mistake.
We can't promote our preferred candidate???? Now that would make FR a very boring place. Please show me the 'rule' that says that.
As if the left and center left would ever vote for a conservative?
This country is ready for Mormon President, if the alternative is a female Stalinist.
As have I. But I would not hold it against him in the political arena.
OK. That was funny. ;-)
