These policies include opening the Iraq economy to lucrative oil refining and private banking opportunities by American and British companies shut out of Iraq for three decades.
What a horrible thought. It would be much better to put those resources in the hands of Obama bin Laden. Whoops. I mean Osama. (It's so easy to make that mistake!)

Considering her constant failure to enact the left’s major desire to defund the war. I wonder how long before someone else will be heading up the Dems in the house.

Well, this certainly explains why the Muslims in the middle east have never been able to make a democracy work.
They don’t do PORK.

Anyone know what this paragraph is referring to?
These policies include opening the Iraq economy to lucrative oil refining and private banking opportunities by American and British companies shut out of Iraq for three decades. Hundreds of Iraqi-owned enterprises have been shut down as Iraqis are being forced into the privatized world of the World Trade Organization.
What Iraqi enterprises is he referring to? Those run by Saddam's goons?

It is hard to believe such utter nonsense makes the printed page.

"At least the Democratic plan served as a major rebuke of Bush's policies..." Bush's policies? The overthrow of the Hussein regime and the subsequent formation of a democratic government in Iraq has been not only US policy, but US law, since 1998 when Clinton signed into law the IRAQ LIBERATION ACT of 1998.
Liberals are America's sheep!

While European countries try to follow a capitalistic principle and turn away socialistic governments for the primary reason of joblessness, this S.F. solution would turn us into a gigantic, uncontrollable government directed bureaucracy.
Both China, India, and a host of other countries will continue reduce their hordes of unemployed with their current capitalistic approach and show absolutely no concern for a stagnant, recessionist turned U.S.A under a Socialist/Democrat cloak.
