Those of you (and there are a lot of you, including my husband) who don’t understand the damage that can and has been done by rosie & “people” like her are out of touch with pop culture & its impact on things like, oh, our lives.

Whether you want to believe it or not, a far too large amount of people (women) watch this garbage every day, and it impacts their “feelings” and it impacts their voting & thus impacts our country and our lives. I talk to these women every day (or I nod my head pretending to listen to them). Think of the power oprah has.

Thanks for your reply. I do understand that airheads like Rosie have a huge impact upon other airheads. But, she'll just be replaced by another airhead, maybe even more outrageous than she supposedly is. It's full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

And BTW, this is why the Framers didn't let you wimenfolk vote. Sure there are a whole lot who are more politically savvy than a significant number of men. But cut that down to taxpaying men and it's still some but no longer a "whole lot."

As do I; bumping to what you've said here.

It's unfortunate, ml/nj, but these women have been given the vote.

This is not just stupid pop culture; this is "hearts and minds" stuff, and we have to combat it.

Exactly right.

That this woman, with her venomous falsehoods was allowed to spread her vitriol, unchecked, over the public airways, in the deadly serious manner of someone who knows what the hell she’s talking about, five days a week to a huge, brain-dead but possibly voting audience for as long as she did was irresponsible and scary. Barbara Walters gambled her reputation for lucre and lost.

I’m glad Ms. O’Donnell is gone (but, strangly, I’ll miss her.)
