I think Rosie and the controversy affected the quality of guests willing to appear on that stupid show.
In just the last few weeks since I’ve started paying attention to who visits the View, all I’ve seen are boring, b-list, has-beens and assorted, lesser ABC (the View’s network) stars who probably, under contract, must oblige.
No movie stars with a major motion picture premiering, no hot-selling musicians with a chart-topper, no best-selling authors, zip.
Defeatism.

I watched the tape three times. I still can’t figure out what Rosie was accusing Liz of. She was just looking to bully from what I could see. the argument made no sense.

Sean did appear on that inane show but he did try to tell her off. What bothers me about O’Donuts is that she was getting her talking points from Soros and Moveon and all the conspiracy websites. Sick stuff - and the sponsors thought people would buy their products? I don’t believe that she left because of a “contract dispute’ - I think the network wanted to get rid of her because they saw future trouble. If we were ever attacked again, they knew that Rosie would be gloating over it.

Anonymous ABC people were dropping hints. It had the tone of being for real. And so it was.
It was said that she was canned. And then that she quit. A Mexican standoff so to speak. But Rosie was livid. So what else is new?
