There will be a reenlistment ceremony this evening at 6pm at the Iwo Jima Memorial Arlington? Washington DC?
I heard this from a person who called in to a radio talk show this morning.
Any Freepers in the area who can attend should to show that average Americans appreciate the efforts of those in uniform.

I heard that this morning on Laura’s show, too. Hearing the mother talking about her son, about the fact that he is re-enlisting at this memorial, brought tears to my eyes. Then when Laura said, “What time is the memorial?” and told the mother she’d see her there........well, just wow. I thought that was just great. I wish I lived there so I could attend. What a great story!
How apropro...I am watching “Flags of our Fathers” right this moment!
