Major Garrett just mentioned this on Fox News. Evidently Cornyn was angry at McCain for leaving him out of the loop. McCain responded with a profanity-laced retort.

That charge was a better fit for both McCain and Kerry...

Someone else already posted this source, whom I thanked. harwood, the original poster of this thread did not site a source except “foxnews.com”. harwood later said that s/he heard it on Fox News TV. This constitutes a discrepency. harwood’s failure to supply accurate citation and contradicting him/herself discredited him/her. As soon as the other party posted this I thanked them.
McCain’s known temper does not equate to using the f-word. But his documented use of it in public certainly discredits him as a presidential candidate. The inability to control what comes out of one’s mouth is definitely an undesirable trait for the POTUS.
Fox News reported the incident, which was from the same source as the blog site at Washington Post and the New York Post. It was actually correctly attributed to Fox News, but it was not on their website originally, so the person could not have shown a URL at that time. I don’t quite understand why it was such a big deal to you, because there were several sources, all of which gave the same information.

It didn’t start out to be a big deal, just an observation and a question about sources. Re-read my posts. Throwing a pejorative headline up with no citation, or in this case an incorrect citation, with no excerpt gives the appearance of being manufactured. When someone finally provided the blog source on WashingtonPost.com, which you later provided, I thanked them. Case closed. But it seems to be still going. So, I guess, “big deal” is in the eyes of the beholder.
