Below is an email I just sent out to friends and family. I believe it will not do any good but I think we have to try. If you don't agree with me, please - no comments. Just ignore.
I just sent an email stating I had voted for President Bush in the last two election and would like to know whom I can contact to take back both of my votes..................
And the unions would get new dues paying workers. With union dues, the DemonRAT Party gets a monetary shot in the arm with campaign money. There will be no Republican candidate that could outspend them. And with campaign finance reform, any counter attack, at the most strategic time, has been shut down.
We are sunk folks.
Wrong. We must stop sitting by quietly and letting them do whatever they want without being challenged. We must rise up and be heard, even if it's frustrating at first.
Thanks for your good work here.
I just got home from work. I tried calling the White House several times on the way home but the line was always busy. I did call Cardin’s office and spoke to a young man. He was polite. I said to him what I posted earlier. I then asked him how many calls they have been getting. He said hundreds, all day. I asked him how it is running. He said fifty-fifty, which I challenged because nothing I have read or heard indicates any citizen wants this bill. Hell, even the hispanics don’t want it because they figure they can pressure the Dems to totally surrender. Anyway, I finished by calmly stating that if Cardin votes for this bill, I will move heaven and earth to ensure his defest the next time he runs. He calmly thanked me and said have goodbye. Have not yet called Babs office.

Time for FReepers to come together on this stuff. I’ve called state GOP, both of my pro amenesty open border senators Dole- Burr NC, the RNC scumbags and all the DC offices I can think of. Let’s start all over on Mon.
We need to be suspicious (though respectful and hopeful) when we get anything less than a completely clear-cut assurance on this issue, ever, with anyone in politics.
When a legislator or aide opposes “amnesty,” the next question should be: “What about this bill?” Because people in politics sometimes define “amnesty” as they wish.
Mega-dittoes, Rod. Calls to all these people are needed. And yes, start again on Monday. And yes, all FReepers should come together on this.
I’ll be damned if I’ll be polite to those back stabbing traitors! I let them have it today and will continue Monday. This bill was started UNDER Republican control and has developed to what it is today. Some senators are claiming to be against this but won’t take a stand. Backdoor deals and screw the American people is what this is all about.
It’s also time to start forming FENCE-PAC and a hundred organizations like it, to get these clowns out of the Senate.
Was not the fence, or 700 miles thereof already authorized? And what is the construction schedule?
FENCE-PAC. Great idea!
Called my senators, Burr and Dole, the NC GOP and the NRC this morning. Also called the White House.
E-mailed Lyndsey Graham this afternoon.
Let me explain. I mean that we should be polite to legislators, or the aides of legislators, who are not known to support the bill — as long as they’re polite to us. If they’re not polite to us (that is, to the individual caller), then we should “let them have it,” and sometimes I have. We should also denounce the legislator if he is for the bill. However, the aide should never be denounced unless he or she is rude. That person may well be on our side — aides are not normally allowed to say.
In addition, that person may end up being more important someday, maybe even someday soon. They should not think of immigration reformers like ourselves as people who are nasty for no reason.
None of those people give a flying f*ck what we think. The fix is in.
This bill is the Democratic answer to Social Security Reform.
bookmarked to preserve national sovereignty. God Bless America.
