Wow, that was a bit of a low blow.
My impression is that this is spoken in this way to get the drive-by mediots to grab their penny pencils and their keyboards and start writing about just how EEEEEEEEE-villl he is, and how arrogant, and that he has used Rasputin’s power to mesmerize his audience. Those who listen to Rush regularly and who are familiar with his style recognize his brand of satire. But he does love to tweak the pencil-lickers on the Left. Dittos, Rush!
Give it up Sandy. Liberals are not the only ones who lack a sense of humor.

PS: I agree with some complainers that Rush is talking a lot recently about his personal life.

The left is always taking him too seriously, but the right needs to remember his prime method of humor also - illustrating absurdity by being absurd.
The MSM considers Rush the pied piper of the radical right. Every so often he obliges them by playing the part as a joke.
I don’t listen to Rush much anymore, but I was a faithful listener for years, and it is so obvious he was doing his put on “pompous act” just from his word usage.

Seriously if you can call a man who put himself up for public service, was elected and re-elected, and has a old-fashioned view of the constitution, that it should be obeyed, well then I am sure you can do better so you won't be called a nutburger. You think?
I didn't think so. You couldn't get elected dog-catcher in a two person town, but you seem eminently qualified to opine on the actions of others who actually do some heavy lifting in our Republic. Why is that? Do something with your life before you critisize others so freely, and from the safety of your anonymity. Would you say that to his face? Then don't say it. Pointing a finger at him leaves three pointing at you, all saying worse than nutburger.
I am not sure if humor is a dying art, but what is dying is the ability of humans to understand humor. Their bias blinds their ability to see humor.
Anyone who is a loyal Rush fan knows that he has A LOT OF FUN! If you just listen for one day, you wouldn’t understand. I know that you understand, SuziQ.

yeah, I had the ditto cam on and it was obvious rush was playing.
Rush preaches to the choir for three hours and then goes play golf. He is great to listen to, but is nothing and produces nothing. The left has meetings (riots) in the streets and Rush responds by play golf. In the meantime the left agenda is advanced through the courts, schools, etc. Wake up. We are backing the losing team. Hillary 100% socialist, Giuliani 50 % socialist. It is over.
