BAGHDAD Three Soldiers were killed and one was wounded when their patrol was struck by a roadside bomb south of Baghdad May 17.

Got anything on this ??
Do I suspect it occurred around Mahmudiyah, Yusufiyah, Latifiyah? I wonder why?
Prayers up for these men, and for a swift and lethal retribution.

First I’ve seen of it been at work all day. Maybe later tonight but Since the source is MNF-Iraq.com It’s good for what it says.
Make that MNCorps-Iraq still a trusted site.

Maybe between Victory and Mahmudiyah,,,closer to Victory,,
I can’t remember but I think the last news release on
the ambush came from the AO(Mahmudiyah)
TANKS Rat,,,
Prayers sent for the wounded man and for the families of all involved.
Prayers also sent for your son and you and your wife.
SoldierDad I am praying for Robert’s safety and for that of his company and for the families of the soldiers that out searching for the missing.
My heart really goes out to you, your wife and family during this very trying time.
I know how hard it is to wait for news especially when it’s sounding rather grim.
May God uplift your hearts and spirits....you are all loved and we care for our heroes, everyone. I love that DVD of John Conyers; “These Also Serve” at least as much as I can remember that’s the title and and the name of the singer.
Every parent and loved one that has a relative in harms way.....They serve too at home...praying, worrying, supporting and waiting with best of hopes for that loved one to come home safely.
God Bless you all and your hero son Robert.

SoldierDad,
I’m in step with you, and your son. Bad place, bad times, as only some can appreciate. If my wishes and thoughts would prevail, there would be no issue. But I am here no matter what.
Semper Fidelis,
We’ve had no word from Robert at all. I don’t know how long the Army will take to begin contacting the families of the soldiers who were killed and the one wounded this day, but I will hold on to “no news is good news”.
Thank you Allegra. Please add my nephew, Jeremy, to your prayers. I’ve not had any word from him for more than two weeks now. He’s with an artillary unit at Victory, but he’s been going out on convoys since his return to Iraq from leave in February.
Impressive post freema. Puts things into perspective.
