I have been a freerepublic member for a long time and usually lurk but tonight I find myself in need of your prayers for my unborn son.
During a routine ultrasound at 20 weeks gestation, it appears my little boy's stomach is on his right side rather than his left. The doctor could not give us any more information and is having us see a doctor at the hospital where they have more high tech equipment.
Please pray for this little baby, that all will be well. I have no doubt in the power of prayer. Thank you

Do not be afraid - this child is a gift from God, and you yourself are God’s gift to this little boy. You - his mother who loves him, even as Christ was loved of Mary - are God’s love made real to this child. Embrace that love, knowing that the God who created mothers and love has created you for each other, and He who made you both has His Hand upon you...
I have prayed that you will see the Power of God; but you already have seen it - this child is proof of God’s love for you. Whatever may be needed, make it so, Father; I pray it, in the Name of Christ!

Keep the faith, Mom. My 3rd child, J., is now 18 months old. They told me that his two-vessel cord was an indicator of potentially severe genetic abornomalities. We were given lots of alarming statistics - heart deformities, still born chances, etc., etc. I refused to worry about it; what would be, would be, and God would help us deal with it, come what may.
As it turns out, J. arrived on his due date, perfect, healthy, and whole. Doctors do the best they can, but they are not infallible.
FReeper prayers sustained my daughter, born during an emergency c-section, 2 months premature. They sustained my little boy, J. Cliche, I know, but faith CAN move mountains and God DOES have a plan and purpose for every child.
Let your son know just how much you love him. Sing to him, talk to him, enjoy him! Believe me, he can feel your love!!Don't sweat over what may or may not be perfect about him unless and until you have to. All your worrying may be for naught!

Put your trust in that Bambino kicking the heck out of your ribs... docs tend to say or do things that should never ever be said in front of the patient/client.
Your boy is going to do ok.
Wait till you see him all knarly and crying for you to love him when he enters this world I betcha the last thing in the world will be where his tummy is and girl these things fix them selves we did not have fancy scopes in the old days don’t fret....God will take you where you need to go.

A month or so back, my friend’s daughter, who was around 8 months pregnant, was worried sick because they saw a dark spot in the baby’s intestines on one of the scans.
They sent her to a specialist who said, quote, “What are you doing here? I don’t see anything wrong at all”.
A few days ago she gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby girl.
I pray that the next doctor you see will smile at you and inform you that the last doctor must have been viewing your baby from the back.
Try not to worry too much mom. It’s not good for the baby. :)
