Prayer Request for my unborn baby [update at #198]

I have been a freerepublic member for a long time and usually lurk but tonight I find myself in need of your prayers for my unborn son.

During a routine ultrasound at 20 weeks gestation, it appears my little boy's stomach is on his right side rather than his left. The doctor could not give us any more information and is having us see a doctor at the hospital where they have more high tech equipment.

Please pray for this little baby, that all will be well. I have no doubt in the power of prayer. Thank you

Get up to Boston to Boston Childrens for a consult with the cardiac neonatologists. 24 years ago my youngest was born with what was then an inevitably fatal heart defect and Down Syndrome. There was a doctor, an immigrant from Guatemala as a matter of fact, who was doing a new surgery. We had the surgery, and with prayers and, believe it or not, a medal of Panagia blessed by +JPII pinned to his little johnny, he made it. They told us he’d be blue and weak. He’s now 24, strong as an ox and as white as a part Greek guy can be...and he is the greates blessing my wife and I have ever had.

Get up to Boston.

Of course. Jesus had a Mom. He loves Moms - and Dads. And we know how much He loves little ones. There is no evil He cannot change to good and no sorrow He cannot change to Joy.

That doesn't mean it's not sorrow though.

When you forget that He loves all of you, we will remember for you, and we will hold you all in our hearts.

Once somebody told us, mistakenly as it turned out, that our one and only baby, 15 months old, was going to die, slowly and terribly.
