But all the evidence that we’ve gathered as humans since the start of history points to the position that there is no God.

Even though atheism may fall short of a lock-tight deductive proof, so far as we are able to tell, with our telescopes and our microscopes and all the progress of technology, God is simply not here.

The theists position is just the opposite. Fantastical claims are made about the positive existence of a God entity, yet there isn’t any supporting evidence whatsoever.

What evidence has convinced you that there is no God? I’m curious.

"...so far as we are able to tell, with our telescopes and our microscopes and all the progress of technology, God is simply not here."

There is more to life than simple measurements that we are too fearful to explore. It's still taboo in science to consider the alternative dimensions to what we can see with our eyes and touch with our hands. This is a limit that must be overcome for science to ever be taken seriously.

That's merely your opinion. Absence of proof is not proof of absence.
