As always, soliciting FReeper comments, observations, and opinions.
Would love to see the C&D issue discussed but somehow, I doubt it will.
Good Morning, AB.
Chuck Hagel and John McCain, Where’ Slo Joe? j/k.
Happy Mother’s Day to all moms.
Good picks, sleuthie.
Thanks, AB & Good Morning to EveryOne! Congrats to last week's topsters!
FNS' Chris Wallace made a Record of sorts last week (with democrat candidate Chris Dodd) - his rating that day was 1.132 million. (lower than Cable's O'Reilly, Hannity, Red Eye, Brit Hume, Greta, Special REport, Half-hour News hour, Line-Up.) Isn't it time for a replacement? For a change, why not have a REAL Conservative as host?
To add further insult, Fox has chosen Wallace & Wendel Goler with Brit Hume. Jim Angle & Julie Bandares will do bettter IMO.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.
Looks like something Laura Ingraham would call another "McHagel morning".
Happy Mothers' Day to all mom here today.
.
Russert will give McCain chance to “distance” himself from the Prez and move closer to the MSM. Do it senator and let ‘s get you over with.
Interesting to see McCain on MTP.
Last time he visited Tim, Tim was kinda rough on the golden boy. Golden boy found his former glow wasn’t actually gold after all; it sort of turned greenish with the MSM.
CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll. May 4-6, 2007. N=1,028 adults nationwide.
** Do you think President Bush strongly supports, only moderately supports, or does not support the U.S. troops currently stationed in Iraq?
Strongly Supports: 57. Moderately Supports: 26. Does Not Support: 15. Unsure: 2.
** Do you think the Democrats in Congress strongly support, only moderately support, or do not support the U.S. troops currently stationed in Iraq?
Strongly Supports: 31. Moderately Supports: 42. Does Not Support: 25. Unsure: 3.
** Who do you think is MORE responsible for the fact that the U.S. troops currently in Iraq have not yet received additional funds: President Bush, because he vetoed the Iraq funding bill passed by Congress, OR the Democrats in Congress, because they passed an Iraq funding bill that they knew Bush would veto?
President Bush: 34. Democrats In Congress: 44. Both (vol.): 14. Neither (vol.): 4. Unsure: 4.
** One proposal would not provide additional funds for U.S. troops in Iraq and would require the U.S. to withdraw all its troops by March 2008. Would you favor or oppose that bill?
Favor: 39. Oppose: 60. Unsure: 2.
If this show gets any worse it will completely shrink from view. Wallace is awful. I think the state of the McCain campaign is exempilfied by his having to use this show for his first “official” announcement of his candidatcy. Even Brit is beginning to annoy me with his following negative stories about Rudy and Mitt with “how will this affect McCain”. But then Murdoch is a McCain supporter.

Well, well...
That sounds like a mandate.
This poll has been widely reported, right? Every pundit is quoting it, right? It will be mentioned on all Sunday morning talk shows, right?
Sorry it is the same as last year but it sort of creeped up on me and I suddenly realised it was today as we have ours earlier in the year.
Hi Rod great to be back live with you all
McCain was awful in that last debate when he spit those memorized sentence ending with a grin. That gates of hell should be directed to the new sec.def. Gates who is nowhere near Rummy, who McCain attacked.
