Some folks still don't get that the property that one has put their life's blood into should not be controlled by other people that may (and I emphasize MAY), or may not, frequent that property.

Amen, Joe!  Most business's have signs up that they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, and yet, the anti's can go in and dictate how that business will be run.  Doesn't make a lick of sense!

Actually you won’t. The Govt will decide that once you hit age.........120, no make it 110, ummm, better lower it to 100, that your quality of life is not high enough to force you to go on living.

Try to get on a donor list of any kind ....after the age of 60 yrs old.

You’ll be able to live to 130.....you won’t have any freedoms mind you. But you will live to 130.

The business owner's could put a sign in their door which reads "SMOKERS ONLY - Non-smokers not allowed" (even if they don't allow smoking) and see how many people squeal. After all.....we don't like our "air" spoiled by bloviating and hypocrisy.

Is it "private property" or a "privately owned public accommodation"?

What about the employees?

It's private property. No one makes you go...

What about them?

Has the 13th Amendment been rescinded?

The service industry is notoriously cutthroat. No entrepreneur is going to go smoke free if he thinks it could cost him customers.

As a result, the vast majority will choose to allow smoking. Employees would have to choose between working in a potentially hazardous environment or changing their means of making a living.

Before you answer, put yourself in their shoes. Imagine that you are given a choice between a potential risk to your health or changing careers. Think about all that would mean to you before throwing out a flippant answer.

I am torn on this one. I could care less if you smoke your brains out and I believe government has no place controlling what you do to yourself. But should government get involved when you start affecting others?

A potential "risk" lives only in the minds of those who've accepted the canard about the health effects of second-hand smoke.

People change careers all the time. I have, along with countless others. This is the nature of life, although whining about it is behavior encouraged by collectivist groupthink. Victimhood is all. We're none the better for it.

Think about all that would mean to you before throwing out a flippant answer.

Your condescension is palpable. I sniff a "career" in Sociology or something equally useful like phrenology.

They invented the property tax, which confiscates a percentage of your house and land each year. They invented the laws which severely restrict what we can do on our property.

My daughter (who is only 7 BTW) asked me the other day, "Daddy, how can they tax you on something you already own?". She had overheard her mother talking about the car tax, but it made me so proud. She's already questioning the legitimacy of some taxes.

Abolition of property taxes would be the only way to actually restore ownership;we are all just modern serfs, paying the annual fees to the overlord.

I wish the Founders had made no property taxes one of the Bill of Rights.

Change resturants.

A lot of people have to make a lot harder choices, seesh, we are raising a bunch of wusses.

Since liberals are offensive to most of us, owners must be able to ban them from restaurants as well. They are worse for your health than any tobacco product.
