She visited William and Mary last week and I had the chance to see her. She didn't say a friggen' thing!
What happened to all those royals who wouldn't shut up...like Hotspur and Richard III

It was just short of a train wreck. No to mention watching last night they showed Laura Bush explaining the dining room, etc. on CSPAN and she was talking about having more than a few of the Bush family for lunch with the Queen. All I could think about listening to her was rushed calls to the family, "Hey y'all come to lunch. The Queen's coming, no seriously. But dress up 'cause we're bringing out the fine paper plates and having ham samwichs instead of bologna."
And I'll get flamed for hell about this but except for Her Majesty, Prince Phillip, and Colin Powell it just looked like everyone was dressed up to go to the cotillion down at the Crawford Country Club. A very stark reminder that tradition trumps power

Whatever. Her family is hardly a model for values, morals or behavior. If the worst any in her family did was wink at someone improperly and slip up about how old the bat really is, than they would be far better off than they are now.

He hasn't been so successful in the past, however. He once admitted to the Queen he was the black sheep of his family and then turned to her and asked "Who's yours?" That's far stupider than anything he said to her this week.

The Queen danced with President Ford in 1976, but it is not known whether she will take to the floor with Mr Bush.

The second photo does not represent her return gaze. That is false. I saw the event. The British press is being petty and mean.

This article would make a perfect object lesson for a lecture on shoddy journalism. The author’s opinions were fixed long before the event. His conclusions were written; all that remained was to pick out (or invent) a few illustrations.

Blundering Brits lost to a small revolutionary army and they now beg for our help to protect them from their enemies. As for the Queen and that whole bunch, England certainly has a lot of money to waste to keep a powerless position going.
As for the Queen, she is old and needs to find some humor.

I’ll bet the old bat loved it and she is old enough to be his mother. If she didn’t she’ll have to just get over it. President Bush is a cutie, that wink is his signature.

Stumbling over his words, he came perilously close to suggesting that the monarch had toured the States in 1776. Well, what did the President say? What a lousy article if it doesn't even provide the quote that the article is about. Must not have been too bad, then.
