CBS 13 IN SACRAMENTO - they are "dealing with the Limbaugh 'Magic Negro' situation"
CBS, LIMBAUGH ^ | 5-6-07 | dfu

The Newsroom at CBS 13 in Sacramento, CA is monitoring the Rush Limbaugh show today. They may be somewhat concerned.

CBS, as you recall, is the network that promoted phony National Guard documents to try to influence a presidential election.

I just spoke to the newsdesk in Sacramento. They are aware that Limbaugh has been talking about them today and giving warnings that they had better remove a video about "Barack the Magic Negro" that someone put on YouTube. Limbaugh had nothing to do with the production.

CBS 13 has a poll underway asking if Limbaugh's parody is racist. They did a 2-part series about it and are trying to cause some controversy.

The woman at the newsdesk has been informed that the term "Barack the Magic Negro" did not originate with Limbaugh. It originated with the leftist Los Angeles Times. According to her, they are "taking everything into consideration and dealing with the Limbaugh 'Magic Negro' situation."

The press is often allowed to get away with this nonsense because some people are powerless to stop it. They took on the wrong guy this time.

A freeper on another thread said the term “The Magic Negro” originated with Spike Lee and Ehrenstein took it from him.

I haven’t researched it so I don’t know.

>>Stevie Wonder

The long version of SW’s “Livin’ in the City” features a policeman throwing a falsely accused black man into a jail cell: “Come on, come ON, GET in that cell, n-——... God!”

Usually the radio plays the single edit. (The song has a middle part where a drug dealer plants some drugs on an unsuspecting young man; we hear sirens, and some police
confront and arrest him. He is quickly found guilty:
“The jury re-appears, having found you guilty. TEN years.”)

Email to John Gibson (Foxnews Big Story)

Subject: Don Imus, Part II (They're Out to Get Limbaugh)

Pertinent info:

- Some time ago, Rush did a parody...Puff the Magic Negro. The parody spoofs the questioning of Obama's "blackness" by the LA Times and Sharpton.

- The CBS affiliate in Sacramento (CBS 13.com) has posted a racially explosive video to go along with Limbaugh's parody. The clear intended implication is that the entire package (video and song) is a Limbaugh production. Go here to watch the video. The video is also on You Tube (CBS 13 probably got it from there) Here's the You Tube link.:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4cH2gopa5I

There's one MAJOR problem. Limbaugh said today that he NEVER USES VIDEO for his parodies. I'm a Limbaugh fan and am unfamiliar with him ever doing a video parody.

The folks at Free Republic.com (the Freepers) noticed that the illicit video on CBS 13 and You Tube has a biline fromhttp://www.politicalpartypoop.com/ (a right wing site) However there is no sign of the video at that link. It appears that this site is being used as a pawn in the hit job.

John, this appears to be an orchestrated "hit" on Limbaugh, possibly timed to capitalize on Obama's getting Secret Service protection due to "racial threats" . Please investigate and report on this. Thanks.

They repeated a lot of their material with variations and recombinations. I think I remember “Cheetum” too.

They are being called late, lazy & morons! ...too funny.

The NAACP prefers colored people.

But the LA Times didn't call him a magic colored person.

Anyway, if it makes fun of anybody (and it does), it makes hilarious fun of Al Sharpton.

"politically correct crowd *are* wearing"

American English!

The Queen would say "are".

President Bush would say "is".

The station where he started was out to get him. They got nailed and, if they don't correct it immediately, they will be nailed financially.

Okay, let's all sing -- THIS MAGIC MOMENT

What are the odds that Rush has Obama on his radio show? Might be a poltical advantage for Obama.

Congratulations, my friend.

When I wrote my column this week, I agonized over whether to use the word Negro in my column this week. I finally decided not to use it, because of the baggage that the word carries.

However, in Rush's case, he didn't use the word new and on his own hook. He had a valid reason -- poking fun at the L.A. Times which was the source which used the word, first. Since I wasn't quoting someone else, I did well to avoid the word myself.
