The Newsroom at CBS 13 in Sacramento, CA is monitoring the Rush Limbaugh show today. They may be somewhat concerned.
CBS, as you recall, is the network that promoted phony National Guard documents to try to influence a presidential election.
I just spoke to the newsdesk in Sacramento. They are aware that Limbaugh has been talking about them today and giving warnings that they had better remove a video about "Barack the Magic Negro" that someone put on YouTube. Limbaugh had nothing to do with the production.
CBS 13 has a poll underway asking if Limbaugh's parody is racist. They did a 2-part series about it and are trying to cause some controversy.
The woman at the newsdesk has been informed that the term "Barack the Magic Negro" did not originate with Limbaugh. It originated with the leftist Los Angeles Times. According to her, they are "taking everything into consideration and dealing with the Limbaugh 'Magic Negro' situation."
The press is often allowed to get away with this nonsense because some people are powerless to stop it. They took on the wrong guy this time.

Who didn’t laugh the first time they heard Paul Shanklin sing “Barak, the Magic Negro?” If John Stewart had done this, liberals would have found it hilarious.

The politically correct crowd is wearing no clothes. They get away with it so long as we all pretend otherwise. Limbaugh has more brains than Imus and will not tolerate it.

KOVR13 is a Viacom owned station. Interestingly, it was previously a Sinclair station. When ownership changed, so did their newscasters.
I can’t stand to listen to the shrill female voices of their reporterettes/newsreaders. Maybe it’s just my hearing loss frequency range, but the more they try to sensationalize a story, the more shrill the sound.
They’d probably be great as an opening act for any Hillary appearances. Warm up the audience so Shillary’s voice wouldn’t be so irritating.

Thanks for the #’s dfu, I got through to the VP’s vm. I left a message asking for correct attribution to the racist video as well as some mention of the LA Times article that started this parody.
With those “freeped” poll results and a volume of calls, it is safe to say they will regret going after the Godfather with this hit piece....LOL
It was a very sloppy attempt as well. Even for the scum at CBS, I expect better. Rush blew them up with one hour of programming today and it was GREAT radio.
I saw the video on youtube and what people were saying, and I asked if anyone could give me a reason why it was racist. I’m still waiting on a reply.

“I for one would like to know where your sense of outrage was when cartoonist Ted Rall drew charicatures of Dr. Condoleezza Rice in a vile manner, or when Clarence Thomas is called vile names. Hmm....guess your outrage is only reserved for when LIBERAL blacks are attacked - for you, it’s open season on CONSERVATIVE blacks. You owe Rush Limbaugh an apology for attempting to tie him with a video he had no connection with. Oh, and check out HIS website when you get a chance, where people can vote on whether your newscasters try to promote racial disharmony - it’s actually getting the numbers you were HOPING for in your poll.
