What's he got against the Constitution Party? I like the CP a nd ahve voted CP in the past but if he goes there, count me out!
Machiavellianism is so often used as a synonym for common sense. Much as I loathe compromising on anything pro-life, that was probably the best he could do at the time. And thats why i dont support giuliani now, because there are other candidates who are pro-life and have an excellent shot at winning.
By the way, anyone else notice how close Julianna was getting to saying “safe, legal and rare”? I mean he reiterated 4 times or more how much he hates it, and wishes people would choose alternatives, but its better that they have the choice.
That’s certainly not fair. I didn’t look at Politico’s question page, but those should have been the questions asked of Hunter.
I'm really just hoping right now that he can stay in this long enough to make some of the voters start actually thinking and reasoning. Just call me PollyAnna!! LOL
jwalsh07 - you and mimaw should start your own Ron Paul thread so nobody will disagree with you.
If agreeing with Ron Paul on most of what he says make you a fellow traveler, then sign me up.
If anyone is interested, you can replay the debate, at your leisure at msnbc.com
Cindy McCain scary? I’m sorry but I detect a homosexual streak running in this thread.
When I saw McCain on Wall St. when he ran, she was there and is a very attractive lady. And years later, nothing’s changed.
If the McCains are happy, good for them.
Well that's a relief!
You can’t win a semantics debate with the purity “declare war” crowd.
On almost every other issue they are never that hardened on actual words.
Frankly, they are retarded.
I copied and pasted the top of the Duncan Hunter page with the Number 1 question, and here it is:

Question is for: Duncan Hunter
Topic Is: Immigration
I feel that you have been the most effective candidate in actually accomplishing the tightening of our borders by having a 14-mile fence built, which greatly lessoned crime in San Diego. As president what will you do to further secure our borders?
“He (Romeny) definitely needs to commit more firmly to pro-gun positions. “
So are you going to go take him out hunting? :)
ROFL...my last name is Barnard! I never knew that character’s was!
Fits me perfectly! lol
thanks for your input as a close friend of Mitt and family! He was a hit tonight, that’s for sure!
LOL
Got a date in mind?
NO. They didn't...:
The last time Congress declared war was on December 11, 1941, against Germany in response to its formal declaration of war against the United States. This was accomplished with wording that took less than one-third of a page, without any nitpicking arguments over precise language, yet it was a clear declaration of who the enemy was and what had to be done. And in three-and-a-half years, this was accomplished. A similar resolve came from the declaration of war against Japan three days earlier. Likewise, a clear-cut victory was achieved against Japan. Many Americans have been forced into war since that time on numerous occasions, with no congressional declaration of war and with essentially no victories. Todays world political condition is as chaotic as ever. Were still in Korea and were still fighting the Persian Gulf War that started in 1990. The process by which weve entered wars over the past 57 years, and the inconclusive results of each war since that time, are obviously related to Congress abdication of its responsibility regarding war, given to it by Article I Section 8 of the Constitution. Congress has either ignored its responsibility entirely over these years, or transferred the war power to the executive branch by a near majority vote of its Members, without consideration of it by the states as an amendment required by the Constitution.
He did get to address that some in the general immigration question all the candidates addressed. I wish he could have answered this and have been given more time to elaborate on it.
I really look forward to your coments should Fred get in the race.
I’ve been hesitant to jump on the bandwagon until we realy see what his platform is.
Immigration and trade are specifically of interest.
Well said
Hunter did very well, despite the computer glitch, or cheating, whatever it was.
