Hagel? For president? What planet is this debate being held on?
I'm still trying to figure out the leftist media's purpose in pushing Chuck Hagel as an "antiwar alternative" for the Republican nomination. I mean, if the country is as antiwar as they say, wouldn't his nomination increase Republican chances of winning the general election? I really don't think journalists, nearly 90% of whom voted for Clinton twice, really want an antiwar Republican President.
Of course, a Chuck Hagel candidacy would make the GOP look weak, and Chuck Hagel as the nominee would ensure a President even more liberal than Rudy.

Bad first response, imho from Rudy. He should have immediately gone after Chris Matthews/Keith Olbermann for their constant america bashing and call on the media to be fair and balanced in their reporting. They should criticize comments from Kerry about how “bad” america is — what did he say over there? We are a paraiah? That is what Rudy should have said....but...maybe next time.
McCain immediately goes after Harry Reid — good strategy.
