She looked a little creepy. I’m sure she’s a fine lady, though.

I think he did very well too! And, I'm not a fan of his other than the fact that he understands how vital winning the war on terror is for America, and bashing President Bush is not going to help America's brave troops gain victory over our enemies.
Guiliani understands this as well, and bravo for him for standing up for our President.

Mitt did well as his supporters knew he would! : )

The earlier "I will follow him to the Gates of Hell" bit was a little over the top, though. Yah. A couple of us ordered the strait jacket at that point.

but to me the name of the night had to be Romney, because he got more face time than anyoneI'm glad as I like Mitt very much. For what ever reason I kind of thought he was lost in the shuffle. In total command, but a bit drowned out by others.

This would be fun for EVERYBODY- if everybody tried to think of the best quote they could from tonight and post them (without looking at a transcript) to see what stuck. For me it's Romney's "You've got to be kidding..." line.
I also liked Huckabee's "I don't know what school you went to..." and Gilmore's "It's not about Karl Rove..."

I think Brownback might double his support...from 1% to 2%...after tonite. That’s sort of a winner.

Ron Paul came across as the cranky next door neighbor or the senile old uncle. He is a joke. I got that impression, too. Moments of lucidity and then *wham* the nutcase emerges.

Andy’smom, did you see Mitt debate Shannon O’Brien? That was a great debate and it supposedly wasn’t looking good for Mitt going into that debate. He is an excellent debater and very charismatic. As Chris Wallace said on the Howie Carr show...he’s an enormously handsome man! I kinda have a man-crush on him. Chris was not happy Howie played that cut in his radio show intros....He finally talked to Howie about it but has never been back on the show since.

Mitt did VERY well. (And, I’ve no preferred candidate...yet)
To: jaycee
If Rudy is the Republican candidate up against Hillary, how many of you hate Rudy so much that you will vote for Hillary? This is the subject of the FreeRepublic poll that has been posted for a long time now. But, of course, you knew that. You just wanted to get a Rudybot sentiment into this long thread.

Mitt is the best in this debate. He can win the Presidency.Except for his record, of course.
It seems to me that the rhetoric of a Governor who just completed a term should at least bear some passing resemblence to his record.
