It’s be an interesfting Free Republic poll question:
“Who do you think won the first debate?”
I believe Hunter will be the top vote-getter, with Romney a close second.
Rudy may get fewer votes than Ron Paul.

Good answer from Tancredo. Put it in McCain’s eye.

I like Ron Paul for contrast tho there is no possibility of him winning the nomination. He, as well as other very dark horses on the stage, are doing this to have a chance to promote their beliefs, and I think that is a good thing.

Well, that actor your speaking of, also was a Governor of California.

I can understand where Rudy is coming from on the issue of abortion. And if his daughter would choose to have an abortion, that would ultimately have to be her decision.
It is like saying he hates drunk driving but he would buy his daughter some beer and give her the keys to the car.
He doesn't hate abortion and he shouldn't say he does.

Sound money? I guarantee 7 of those cardboard holders up there don't even know what he was talking about. But he was spot on. That was the correct answer. Even tied the poor into his response. That was the best response of the 10

These candidates are so far superior to the dems its amazing (I would expect most msnbc viewers wuold not agree with that assessment). I think Mitt is doing the best and Hunter is doing quite well...all the Governors outshine the Senators by leaps and bounds. Rudy is stumbling in the debate and McCain is just not clicking with the audience at all. He is using prepared remarks, and has said the same thing more than once. Asking about appointing a democrat in a republican adminstration...I certainly don’t recall any such question to the democrats during the their debate.
And the whole Rove thing was just too strange.

Presidents’ wives have no credentials to discuss anything. They are just celebrities. She had an astrologer, for Pete’s sake!

All these guys are spouting “I’ll fix income tax” and I’ll get rid of the IRS. But they wont. Do they have any idea how many Americans make their livelyhoods on the tax system being overly complex?
