moscow • Russia halted deliveries of oil products to Estonia yesterday in a move that coincided with protests in Moscow over the Baltic state’s relocation of a Soviet war memorial.
The cut-off was likely to revive Western fears the Kremlin is using its energy might as a political weapon against ex-Soviet neighbours.
Russia’s state rail monopoly said it planned to carry out maintenance on the rail link to Estonia, disrupting supplies.
Coal exporters said Russian railways had also halted exports of steam coal via Estonia for this month, totalling up to 900,000 tonnes, citing a shortage of railway wagons.
They said Russian rail monopoly RzHD told them they must use their own rail wagons, not RzHD’s, but it has not been possible with such short notice to find alternative wagons.
Moscow and Tallinn have been trading barbs since Estonia last week moved a bronze statue of a Red Army soldier—revered in Russia as a symbol of its huge sacrifices in World War Two — from its spot in the centre of the capital.

Beleive it is easier to break up United States with her white, nergo, indian and mexican population. Russia is ALL white race, speaks ONE language and predominantly ONE culture. Muslims ar ejust same Russians with some different faith. All foreign people got separated during 1991 split.
The Kremlin's repulsive actions are similar to a Russian Mafia bully, blackmailing & shaking down those they believe are cornered & unable to defend themselves.
Those being blackmailed need to unify and counter the bully.
EU won’t allow this, they have caused us a lot of problems with “normal pipe” through Baltic. Digging under the bottom of the sea (bridge over Pl-Nor pipes is illegal) would cause local environment disaster. EU ecologists are very touchy when they hear “oil pipe” and “Baltic” in one sentence.
German-Russian pipe line is supposed cross polish territorial sea or exclusive economic zone, in the both cases Poland may set very high expactations... very costy I’d say.
Pl-Nor pipeline is considered “medium” (pressure is 220 bar’s) it won’t need compressing
Ger-Rus pipeline is considered “big” and it will need compressing... no way Poland will agree to the compressions machinery on it’s land
Ger-Rus pipeline can be placed outside polish,estonian, lithuanian territorial sea or eez but it would look like slalom... what’s more eksterritorial sea has not been cleaned since WW2 and is full of mines, bombs, wrecks not only old but new also, like Swedish ship MS Frinnbirch which sank in 2006

Anyway, talking about brake-up of Russia, I have stated earlier that US can be boken ino ethnical regions. in just about 50% of US territory white americans are in majority.
Entire SW of USA is Mexiaca -populated and entire South is with black majority.

Basic, common political and economical ligic is if you are dependant on other peoples oil and gas, never try to provoke them or act against them. Estonians believed that they can provoke Russia, by cheap oil, coal and gas and that Russia wouldnt react...

Exactly. They all are corrupted by USSR. Now it is over and that why they create lot of noise about “blackmail and intimidation” of Russia. Russia just ask them to pay the market price. Secondly Russia just tell them that those who do dirty trick will be refused to do business with her.

Why you denouce “Russian nationalists” but at same time support Estonian natinalists the former soviet communists? I see it as just russoaphobia pure and simple. You are ready to support anyone in the world: communists or else if they are antirussian, right?
Tell that to the Tatars, Bashkirs, Kalmyks, Chuvash, Mordvinians, Komi, Udmurt, Yakut, Karelians, Adygeans, Mari, Ingush, Cherkess, Chechens, etc., etc. Our motto in the the USA is “From Many, One.” Yours is “Russia for the Russians.” That attitude will make it all the easier to turn your imperial subjects against you.
