If we could get Fred and J.C. Watts, we could have 8 years of witty quips AND 16 years of ..."they're just a bunch of race bating povrerty pimps", too!

:O)

Be careful of overconfidence my FRiend. Let’s win it first, then celebrate any landslides.

Remember also that Fred said tonight that the Democrat party is ran by MoveOn, and far left Liberals. Basically was right down Seans alley, Sean did a whole segment last night on Hannitys America about that very subject.

I also thought Fred did well in discussing the lymphoma again. Said he’s never had ANY symptoms either from the disease or the treatment he took for it.

Strongly disagree here. Fred’s connection with Generation X is beyond what we’ve ever seen from any presidential candidate. This is going to rock all conventional wisdom as far as ‘red states’ and ‘blue states’. It’s not going to be a Reagan landslide by any stretch, but Fred’s crossover appeal will be huge.

Okay. How’s this for a cogent analysis:

If Hitlery has such high negative ratings (the latest polls show over half of all Americans refuse to vote for her,) why the heck would you run a Republican against her who agrees with her on most issues?

If people dislike Shrillary because they believe her political positions only last as long as the polls agree, why would you run a Republican against her who has the same inconsistencies?

Run Fred Thompson against the beast. He disagrees with her on almost all of the issues and his positions are based on principle, not on which way the wind blows.

I am already considering it. That’s a HUGE sacrifice, because I will have to deal with all four of them to do it. :)

“I look for the announcement the day AFTER “Law and Order’s” season ends.”

It would be amusing, to say the least, if the season’s finale ended with everyone being called into his office to hear that announcement. ;)

> It’s getting as old as when he refers to Newt as “Mr. Speaker” all the time.

You may find it annoying, but I believe it is proper protocol. Presidents, judges, ambassadors, senators, congressmen, military officers, etc. all retain their title after retirement. Even Pres. Nixon, who resigned in relative disgrace, properly retained the title of Mr. President.

I hear ya. :-)

Yet I can’t help but be enthusiastic when I hear Fred speak so eloquently in a roundabout fashion for now—can’t wait to hear him on all the issues once he formally announces!!

The Paul Harvey show shouldn’t trigger the Equal Time clause.

“Stations who gave time to candidates on regularly scheduled newscasts, news interviews shows, documentaries (assuming the candidate wasn’t the primary focus of the documentary), or on-the-spot news events would not have to offer equal time to other candidates for that office.”

Paul Harvey is a regularly scheduled newscast.
