I support Fred too...and I believe he IS running...

BUT...he is on "Law and Order" through the May TV sweeps. If he jumped in the race before the season ended, NBC would either have to drop the show or give every candidate equal time. Plus he is the "fill-in" for Paul Harvey...same equal time story. I look for the announcement the day AFTER "Law and Order's" season ends.

I can't wait!

Fred accurately summed up public concern about a)Washington and b) politicians destroying each other.

He asked: “Is this what we’ve come to?” And also pointed out that Americans are concerned the country is doing downhill “a little bit” (Fred’s words)

FReepers are concerned the country is going straight to heck in a handbasket, but Fred couldn’t be that direct of course, LOL!

He did a good job, especially since he hasn’t officially announced....yet :^) I’d love to see a steely-eyed determined speech from him.

And I hope Rush plays the quotes Fred said about Reid and the RATS....it’s basically what Rush has been saying for months, owning defeat.

Yeah, poor Alan, I felt kinda sorry for him, sitting there on the sidelines, watching history unfolding right before his liberal eyes. :-)

Even *he* felt Fred’s ‘destiny’/’fate’/’karma’/’calling’—
that’s why he was trying so hard to get the Toe Sucker to
confirm that Hillary is still queen bee for the next election
[insert toilet flushing sound here].

Thats what I said! But for some reason to me Sean looked a little nervous when Fred said that...Maybe he knows that Rudy would never say something like that?

I agree......he looks VERY Presidential! Plus, he’s a very natural speaker..plain spoken.

Fred will be President!

Indeed, Fred even pointed out that the democraps often think about things only in terms of “we’ll pick up senate seats”. Then Fred asked “Is this what we’ve come to?”

Excellent stuff. We need more of that pointed out. Daily on national tv.

“Prediction:
Fred 86%
Hillary 11%
Bloomberg 3%

There. Fixed it for ya. ;-)”

I respectfully disagree with you. If Sen. Thompson gets in the race, it’s going to be a long, rotten, miserable, vicious slog. There will be good days and awful ones.

If Sen. Thompson actually runs and is nominated, I would expect the general election to come down to less than a 2-3% spread.

Maybe Sean just wasn’t expecting that directness. The RATS seldom get criticized publically.

Darn, I only caught the last few minutes, I’ll have to watch the replay.

I will say that both my wife and I looked at him and thought “he looks pretty old”. I don’t know if that is bad, but I think people seeing him might think he’s old if they are used to seeing him from his old TV shows.

I don’t know how made up he is on law-and-order, I don’t watch that show, but I think his age was obvious to me because last night I watched “Days of Thunder”.

Again, I don’t know whether that will be a problem for him with people seeing him now and remembering him from some decades-old movie.

I’ve always called Morris “the little weasel” because he looks and sounds the part. However, “toe sucker” has a nice ring to it. Henceforth, I shall dub Morris “little toe-sucking weasel.” Maybe some enterprising Freeper Photoshopper could meld Morris with the sporkweasel. Then he becomes the “little toe-sucking sporkweasel.”

That’s an interesting question from someone who spends most of their time on Duncan Hunter threads.

I didn’t watch the rest of H&C, but it sounds like Fred left Colmes and Morris sputtering.

Which delights me.

actually, about the only thing I like about Rudy is that he would say something like that. Rudy can fight, he is just wrong on too many important issues.

“Hey Sean, what say you? Are you doing the Rupert’s bidding or are you a really a closet RINO ?”

There was a time a year or two ago when if someone made a particularly cogent analysis of something on FR, you’d hear it a day or so later on talk radio.

He looked just like he did when he announced the lymphoma if you saw that. He didn’t have heavy make up then.

I think it’s good that he appears without all the make up. It will get people used to how he ACTUALLY looks.

Agree to disagree. :-)

I believe Fred’s going to win by such a landslide because he’s going to appeal to all the middle of the road voters who have been holding out on either party (they’re the ones who stayed out or voted democrat while pinching their noses shut to prove something to Republicans last time and they truly regret those actions now)—add to that the fact that the third parties don’t have a leg to stand on, so those voters will be Fred’s. Plus all the conservatives, religious right and otherwise.

The only ones left to vote for Hillary will be Code Pink and the boneheads from moveon.org. I’m being generous giving her even 11%. ;-)

OK, this isn’t related to the thread.

I’m watching Boston Legal. They are questioning a judge who has “slept around”. Shore asks the judge if there wasn’t some other judge that wanted to marry her.

Then he says “didn’t Mitt want to make you one of his wives” — obviously an inside joke about Mitt Romney.

To which the Judge responds - “You’re going to get letters for that one”, an obvious “outside the show” reference to show watchers writing to ABC or the show’s producers to complain about the below-the belt joke.

I think the best line of the night was, “Here is the life raft but you are going to drown anyways.”

Maybe we should call the Democrats the Sinkable Life Rafts.
