Earth tremors have been felt in southern England, shaking parts of Kent.
Kent Fire Brigade said there had been an explosion in Folkestone, but the tremors have been felt across a wide area, suggesting that is unlikely.
Many homes have sustained damage, with reports of cracks in buildings and chimneys falling down, while power and phone supplies have been lost in a number of towns.
More to follow...

A Charlie horse.

“I see the apocalyptikooks are already posting Bible verse. Sigh.”
2 Peter 3:3-5
3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

I am fine Eragon - thanks for asking yes it was about 10 miles from me.
I did not hear it as I live in South Ashford but apparently North Ashford about 3 miles away did feel it slightly.
The hospital where dad is in is situated in North Ashford and he said that he felt the bed move at approximately the time of the earth quake but at the time thought it was just the bed moving extra violently as it does sometimes malfunction (it is electric one designed for people after ops and to help prevent bed sores.
Thanks for checking in, snugs!
So glad you’re okay!

“Rosie O’donnell come for a visit?”
No. Probably Alec Baldwin.
Or maybe it was the ghost of Winston trying to set it right!
