Earth tremors have been felt in southern England, shaking parts of Kent.
Kent Fire Brigade said there had been an explosion in Folkestone, but the tremors have been felt across a wide area, suggesting that is unlikely.
Tremor centred on Folkestone
Many homes have sustained damage, with reports of cracks in buildings and chimneys falling down, while power and phone supplies have been lost in a number of towns.

This is a shallow focus earthquake. I think that they tend to be small ones and can happen most anyplace.

False report..it wasn’t an earthquake. Just that all the Muslims in England hit their prayer rugs at exactly the same second.

Tremor? When the hell was the last time there was an Earthquake in England?
HMMmmm...
NIV Hebrews 12:25-26
25. See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?
26. At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."
NIV Revelation 11:13
At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

NIV Matthew 24:4-8
4. Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you.
5. For many will come in my name, claiming, `I am the Christ, ' and will deceive many.
6. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
7. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Tremor? When the hell was the last time there was an Earthquake in England?
While rare on a human timescale, damaging earthquakes in England are not unknown - there's a general ancient trend of crustal weakness extending NW from the Alps through Europe - there were a couple quite powerful quakes in Belgium and Holland in 1983 and 1992, with serious damage in the millions of dollars.
Per Wikipedia, fairly near to todays quake was the 1884 Colchester quake that seems to have been of similar magnitude to todays, and also near the 1580 Dover Straits quake which is apparently referenced in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
I see the apocalyptikooks are already posting Bible verse. Sigh.

Did anyone see Ethan Hunt enter the Chunnel recently? Perhaps in the company of a helicopter?

Hows the Chunnel? Chunnel is OK, no leaks according to the Beeb and Sky.

My first thought that came to mind was a nuclear device being detonated in the chunnel. And I have absolutely no doubt this is probably the exact thing AQ wants to do.

Barely made the USGS world earthquake map. Still, a volcano could be emerging on the Thames—early sign. Probably isostatic rebound from the Ice Age.
