Toddler dies after pit bull attack

From Live5 News

Authorities say a toddler was mauled to death when the family pit bull got loose from inside a laundry room and attacked the young boy.

Brian Palmer died Tuesday morning from his injuries. He would have turned two-years-old in August.

The 2-year-old dog was euthanized, and its head was sent to Columbia for testing.

Authorities say the dog had killed a family cat and fought with another dog within the last month. There were --no-- adults in the house when the attack occurred and the oldest of four children at the home was 16-years-old.

Maybe they need to send the owners head to Columbia for testing.

A great tax deductible organization can be found at:

www.roadhouserescue.org

Check it out if you are interested. All money donated goes to helping the dogs, providing for them in every way.

Again, its tax deductible.

It is not the breed, it must be the owners..how they raised the little pit bull

Yeah, when was the last time a beagle or greyhound mauled to death a 2 year old?

All I know is, if a collie has a bad day and bites someone they are just bit. If a “pit” or AST has a bad day and bites someone they are seriously mauled or worse.

I read your post and understand your point.

Again I ask- how often do those other breeds KILL people?

The merits of whether they’re “bred” to kill or not...don’t matter- the point is- they kill people. Often. Without warning.

answer my question....how would a Vet answer this...

What dog can I buy that has the greatest liklihood of killing my little girl?'

Hmmm? What would his answer be? I think we all know, don't we...

Thats already been done on this thread.

Okay, so refresh my memory on the answer.

Again, just ask your vet if there is a ‘vicious breed’.

Okay, I get it...believe him instead of my lying eyes...gotcha.

“I read your post and understand your point.

Not nearly as often as gangbangers, drunk drivers, or solvents under your sink, or your bathtub for that matter. And not nearly as many as are killed in gun accidents, btw. And I’m a gun owner, and don’t want them banned either.

“The merits of whether they’re “bred” to kill or not...don’t matter- the point is- they kill people. Often. Without warning.”

‘They kill people’ - yep, on occasion it does happen.

‘Often’ - 100% wrong, and the statistics demonstrate it conclusively. There are millions of pit bulls, there are a relatively few incidents of humans being killed, and a very large percentage of those attacks are the result of human stupidity, either by the owner, or the person killed maimed, or mostly likely by the PARENT of the child killed.

Just ask your vet, thats all I’m saying. You have a MSM driven point of view thats just not fact based.

“answer my question....how would a Vet answer this...

Sure. He’d say something along the lines of:

“Hang on a second, I’ll check my dog registry. Stay right here....”

And within five minutes you’ll be talking to men with guns and badges, and most likely end up in a psycho ward for evaluation.

We’re done, btw. Don’t bother pinging me again.

You want to cling to a misconception, be my guest.

Personally, when somebody suggests my viewpoint is wrong, I’ll at least check the data with somebody thats a professional.

Like a vet.

You are wrong. Pit bulls are unstable and vicious by nature.

Other breeds must not have bad owners.

I thought so...you won’t answer because you know the answer is your darling pits. And that’s the bottom line. Twist and spin and pose all kinds of unrelated gun and horse arguments and cute put downs but you know it.....we all do.

“My oldest brother had a black lab that he loved dearly. Then one day it snapped at his daughter. It was put down the same day.”

Our black lab is much more ‘erratic’ than the Rott/Shepard. Whenever somebody new comes to our house, we grab the Lab, not the Rott.

‘Lucy’ seems to believe Satan is coming to dinner disguised as one of our friends....(chuckle)

Ask your vet. He or she will disabuse you of this notion thats the result of the MSM, and some idiots that think you beat a dog to make it want to protect you.

Kinda like McCain thinking he can beat on conservatives for two decades and they’ll vote for him, come to think of it....(chuckle)
