My wife has a few “nicknames” for me that would be removed by the moderator if I posted them.

My nickname is Jed cuz I used to be a clamp operator.

They’d say “Alright Jed, clamp it”

In High School I questioned everything, my friends starting calling me inspector. Later I actually became an inspector.

It's not my nickname anymore, now it's Fuzzy from a time I didn't shave very often.

Easy enuff ..... I'm a big Beatles fan, and was always rather amused at a song they recorded "Mr Moonlight", where John screams out : Mistaaaaaaaaa Mooooonlight at the beginning of the song, so ya think its gonna be a loud raucous rocker?!?!!??

Nope, the song then descends into a rather cheesy sounding 'waltz' like tune complete with a skating-rink type Wurlitzer organ solo ...... great stuff :)

Hence, my nick: Mr Moonlight

My nickname is Muffie. When I was 2 and my brother was 3 he could not say Martha, it came out something like Muffie and it stuck to me.

Mine was “SIX” once upon a time.

I got that one...I think I was 19... one night while “cruising chics”. We called it that but what we were really doing was trolling for chics with beer as the bait. All you did was get a nice car, get a case or two of beer, and drive the strip that all the kids cruised on. When you saw a car load of cute girls, you got them to pull over and try to get them to come to your party....get their phone numbers...make out if you can...tempt them with a beer if they want it.

Well, I had the record of 6 phone numbers in one night. Thinking back, it's amazing how easy it was to get a date back then...with really cute ones too! It takes more than a can of cheap nasty beer nowdays, that's for sure.

My mom has called me Bicky since I was little because I called my cousin Vic Bic.
The doctor who delivered me called me Zelma until he retired because when he asked my mom what they were going to name me, and she told him that so far my sisters were named in alphabetical order, he suggested that they name me Zelma. (My mom was 39 at the time.)
My sisters have called me all sorts of things.

Toddler through age ten: Icky Ack. This a mocking of my early attempts at speech.

Age nine through thirteen: K(C)ookie. I'm not sure of the origin of this moniker. My research suggests either because I had a way with the ladies similar to heart throb Gerald Lloyd "Kookie" Kookson III or because I would acquire my classmates' lunch cookies by any means necessary.

“junior” or some times “junior junior” as my cousin was the senior of “juniors” in the hierarchy of juniors in my family

This is our car. (Actually, not the exact same car but mine looks exactly the same).

The "Dodge Custom 880" is too much of a mouthful so we just call it the Enterprise. It's old and white and just about as big. The thing is a monster.

The way I came by my nickname is described in my profile. By the way Babe Ruth was probably the greatest natural athlete who ever lived, For a man as large and unathletically looking as he was, a man known to drink heavily and not pay attention to his health to establish so many records is amazing.

As for the greatest baseball player it must be between Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig , Pete Rose or Cal Ripken.

When our first Grand Daughter was born, I wanted to be called Grand Mommie.
I “Grand Mommied this and Grand Mommied that.....Grand Mommie, Grand Mommie, Grand Mommie.”

Finally, one day she looked at me and said, plain as day...Mimo, Mimo? And I answered....

So now, that’s who I am to almost everyone we know.
Pronounced me-mo.
