~Nicknames ~ George Herman Ruth, Jr. (February 6, 1895 August 16, 1948), also known as Babe, The Bambino, The Sultan of Swat, and The Colossus of Clout, was an American Major League baseball player from 1914-1935. Ruth is regarded by many historians and fans as the greatest baseball player of all time, due to a combination of his on-field accomplishments and records; his significant roles both in changing the way baseball is played and in establishing the New York Yankees dynasty; and his resulting worldwide name-recognition. He is a charter member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The cat, nicknamed Macavity, has one blue eye and one green eye.
The cat was nicknamed Macavity after the mystery cat in T.S Elliots poem. He gets on the bus in front of a row of 1950s semi-detached houses and jumps off at a row of shops down the road which include a fish and chip shop.
Driver Bill Khunkhun, 49, who first saw the cat jumping from the bus in January, said: It is really odd, the first time I saw the cat jumping off the bus with a group of passengers. I hadnt seen it get on which was a bit confusing.
The next day I pulled up on Churchill Road to let a couple of passengers on. As soon as I opened the doors the cat ran towards the bus, jumped on and ran under one of the seats, I dont think any of the passengers noticed.
Because I had seen it jump off the day before I carried on driving and sure enough when I stopped just down the road he jumped off - I dont know why he would catch the bus but he seems to like it. I told some of the other drivers on this route and they have seen him too.
Since January, when the cat first caught the bus he has done it two or three times a week and always gets on and off at the same stops.
Passenger, Paul Brennan, 19, who catches the 331 to work, said: I first noticed the cat a few weeks ago. At first I thought it had been accompanied by its owner but after the first stop it became quite clear he was on his own.
He sat at the front of the bus, waited patiently for the next stop and then got off. It was was quite strange at first but now it just seems normal. I suppose he is the perfect passenger really - he sits quietly, minds his own business and then gets off.

We have Norris Anderson, teaching our Sunday School right now.
On creation. HE IS EXCELLENT!!!
The lessons have been tremendous!
God is soooo AWESOME! His works are so far above our thoughts.
It’s a miracle He opened my dead, cold, black, stubborn heart to the gospel of Jesus Christ!
I deserve nothing but His wrath, and He in His mercy did not give me justice, but wonderful, mercy and grace. Hallelujah!

Huh, western. There’s a blast from the past. Are there any of those around anymore? 50cent gasoline and full service filling stations. Cigarettes were in vending machines. Pop was in glass bottles. Beer was in steel cans. People used to actually get flat tires and change them by the side of the road. Ever wonder why people don't get flats anymore? I remember when it wasn't uncommon for farmers to have their own tire mounting machine. You never see that anymore. I wonder if it's better roads, or better tires? I remember a trick for mounting tire beads when you didn't have a machine. You sprayed ether into the tire adn then stood back and threw your cigarette at the gap between the bead and the rim...WOOOMPH...tire mounted.
