Check out Dr. Paul's credentials here. 100% Conservative! In a field littered with RINOs he is a refreshing change.
DOVE, no thanks.
Congressman Pauls consistent voting record prompted one of his congressional colleagues to say, Ron Paul personifies the Founding Fathers’ ideal of the citizen-statesman. He makes it clear that his principles will never be compromised, and they never are.” Another colleague observed, “There are few people in public life who, through thick and thin, rain or shine, stick to their principles. Ron Paul is one of those few.”
Brief Overview of Congressman Pauls Record
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.
Problem is, folks aren’t just looking for a “real” conservative. They’re looking for one who can clear 1% of the vote.
He has stabbed our troops in the back.
He is no conservative. He is a libertarian.
No, Paul is a "Kook" libertarian.
Sorry.
OK.
We are looking for a “real conservative” that is “real electable.”
Amen to that.
Certainly not looking for someone that will say "no" to any defensive action, right up to and including the point where the enemy walks into his house and shoots him.
At the personal level, that's ignorance. At the national level, that's criminally negligent.
If I was going to vote for a “Paul type” I’d vote for Buchanan as he’s proved he can get more than 2% of the vote.
He is the Kucinich of the GOP.
Dope & Porn in every house!
I was impressed with RP and nearly set on voting for him until I saw his stance on the war. Sorry. No can do.
Those two do it for me. Thanks for playing, though.
It pretty much already is.
Ron Paul is who I always think of when it occurs to me that the far left and far right are meeting each other at the back of the circle.
He’s not cut out to be POTUS. Say what you will about sticking to his principles, I happen to think some of his principles are dead wrong.
Ping.
Clear as mud.
What is that language on the top? Phoenician or something? (I know the other is Greek)
That’s better than the federal government in every house.
