Every elected official takes an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

How many of the countries from which all these immigrants come, would allow American citizens to immigrate to those countries? Darn few, I suspect. Why would it be “inhumane” for the US to be as restrictive in its immigration policies as practically every other country on earth is? WHy must the US, alone among the world’s countries, open its doors to tens of millions of people whose kids will compete with ours for classroom space, whose parents will compete with ours for senior services, and whose breadwinners will compete with us for jobs?
