I considered the Darth Enosh thing, but for some reason it makes me think of Mongolian yak butter soup. That settles is.
You are now Darth Rancid Yak Butter.

I looked at some of those threads. They didn’t seem like the best place for me. I’m not that thick skinned. DC doesn’t seem like a place where I would fit in either. I don’t believe in evolution, and I’m a strong Christian.

They wouldn’t have you anyway. They are far less tolerant of dissenting opinion than JR is. Here, they can support evolution. There, you can’t support creation.

Thank you for the experienced advice. I can't tell you how much I admire your diet results. That takes a lot of good sense and sticking to it -- more than I usually manage, alas :-)
I got really unhappy with Splenda a few months ago when I read a doctor's report that the stuff DOES have calories. It can be advertised as zero calories under the arcane rules of federal bureaucracy, but it does have a few calories. That made me grumpy, so I went back to Equal for a bit. That made me grumpy about opening too many little blue packets. I'm back to Splenda, calories or not.

On what post did she cross the stupid line?
To: rbmillerjr
I haven’t watched her closely other than her support for Rudy, so I don’t know.
I can guess it was along the logical lines of, “Let’s save America by killing all our babies!”

Thanks for the report. I never go into those other sites. I'm perfectly happy right here. Best [MILD OATH DELETED*] conservative web site going, and still going strong.

Really? Of all the Rudybots, she always seemed the most friendly to me. From what I saw, she pushed Rudy to the bots, but she realized other people accepted different candidates. She only seemed to get angry when she saw people wouldn’t vote for Rudy even if he got the nomination. I haven’t read her posts lately, though, so I don’t know what she did to either get suspended or banned.

I was toying with “Darth Mongolian yak butter soup,” but thought better of it :-) For one thing, it’s an undignified name, and for another, yak butter soup doesn’t sound half bad.

I wonder how fascistic censorship evolved? Free and open inquiry would seem to be a far better survival strategy, not to mention more scientific.

This thread seems to really be dying out. It’s good everyone is getting along better. Still, I’ll put a placemarker here.

C-3PO: His high exaltedness, the Great Jabba the Hutt, has decreed that you are to be terminated immediately.
Han Solo: Good, I hate long waits.
C-3PO: You will therefore be taken to the Dune Sea, and cast into the pit of Carkoon, the nesting place of the all-powerful Sarlaac.
Han Solo: Doesn’t sound so bad.
C-3PO: In his belly you will find a new definition of pain and suffering as you are slowly digested over a thousand years.
Han Solo: On second thought, let’s pass on that, huh?

Considering the universality of the moral law, I wonder what "secular" (finite, contingent, man-made) thing can serve as the basis for moral law.
Indeed. It seems to me they would have a real problem arguing against equal rights for animals, pedophilia, bestiality, infanticide, etc. - or conversely, in favor of personal responsibility.
