NAFTA, CAFTA and its offspring are looking pretty bad right about now.
I happened across a local TV website and saw an article that didn’t make national headlines while the spinach thing was going on. It was a daycare that was closed after bacterial contamination sickened several children. Around the same time period, I ran across another article in a state 1000 miles away where another daycare was closed after similar bacterial contamination.
Someone posted to me around that time that there were many more ‘situations’ that got reported to CDC and state/county health departments than ever made news.
So, is the food supply really safe or are the bureaucrats just wanting to keep the sheeple in the dark and hope that various situations can be contained?
Next time you go to your local grocery, ......
Paper or plastic........or tinfoil?
Paranoia notwithstanding, food poisoning is not a new issue. Three kids in CA got sick, and it is national news. Is this the first time in 30 years that three kids got sick from eating at a concession stand? Surely not.
I think it is the 24 hour news cycle and people getting hyped up about every germ they hear about.
They use human waste for fertilizer, both on purpose and to save on bathroom facilities, IMO.
Funny, as I was reading this, that was the first thought that came to my mind. The second thought was,, for some strange weird odd reason,, illegal immigrants and terrorism both popped into my mind! Thing is,, we may never know. Though I am surprised that USA Today said that China deliberately put this toxic substance in the pet food. That was in this past week. I guess I should look that up and post it.
Or maybe reporting requirements are better? Ever consider that?
