Edwards has made a ton of money, but he’s still STUPID.
My Bride cuts my hair. Over 35 years ago, it was because I couldn’t afford to spend money at the barber.
Then it was because I am of Scottish heritage, thus I will always try to squeeze a dollar out of a penny. ($400 for a haircut is flat out STUPID and not knowing what a service is going to cost you is just as STUPID, perhaps even more so).
Today, it’s mostly because I don’t give a hoot....folks either love me or hate me and I doubt that it has much to do with who cuts my hair. I could be a multibillionaire and I would still look for the inexpensive haircut.
Besides, my Bride is quite good at it. ;)

Are they really serious that ONLY this $400 haircut is ruining his image as a cheerleader for the "little guy"?
How about that humble little home he lives in???
To: george76
Hopefully Ill have enough sense not to do that again. Doubtful.

Apologies are owed to Ann Coulter. This guy is exactly what she said he was.
I wonder what $800 for two haircuts equates to in a typical North Carolinan's home mortgage?

Edwards image as a populist crusading for the little gay. (oops, GUY)

Silk Pony boy, since you spent more than $16 on a haircut, consider yourself a fool.

Only the mentally ill rat voters believe that their super rich leaders like Edwards, Kerry, Kennedy, the Clintoons and George $oreA$$ are really for the nutty rat voters.
The elite lying/spinning Rats like Edwards are only embarrassed when they get caught and outed.

What is interesting about Edwards is that many people I have spoken to like him. My father is a lifelong liberal who used to want Hillary. Now he doesn’t want her, like Edwards instead. Similarly a 88-year old friend of the family also wanted Hillary for years now today she said she wants “nothing to do with her. She wants power, nothing else”. Obama is too inexperienced for her. She prefers Edwards. Very interesting.

Does anyone else remember Roger Jepson? He was a one-term Senator. He went to a "massage" parlor, and paid with a credit card. His opponent got a copy of that credit card receipt, and that was the end of Jepson's political career.
Jepson did have a reputation as one of the dumbest men in the Senate. Edwards talks a better game. But he's not much brighter than Jepson, as Hairgate demonstrates.

They want to come here because people like me ... the son of a mill worker ... can now be running for president and paying $400 for a haircut, Edwards said to loud laughter.
I guess this is soft-pedaling his open-border plan for us.
Interesting that this seems to have overshadowed the sympathy thing with his wife's cancer.
