The festering bad blood between movie-star exes Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger erupted Thursday when an angry phone message from Baldwin to his daughter was made public. On the recording, Baldwin can be heard berating his 11-year-old, Ireland, "You are a rude, thoughtless little pig."
"You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being," he says, apparently upset that she did not answer her phone for a planned call.
"I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you're a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone."
He goes on to say that he plans to fly from New York to Los Angeles "for the day just to straighten you out on this issue."

I watched that 30 Rock show for the first time last week and thought it was really funny. Even Alec was good in it. Too bad I won’t watch it again unless they dump him.

Well no, Alex, it's actually you doing it to yourself. You simply use the excuse of other's actions to demonstrate your prissy, self-absorbed, mindless (and misdirected) ego.
It mustn't be much fun being Alex Baldwin. If you harbor this much resentment, even toward an 11 year old child, then most anyone in this world is better off than you. Go find a hole. The world has better things to do besides waste our time on a worthless jerk like you.
At least he didn’t call her nappy headed! You watch - Baldwin will get a tap or two for this - but nothing more.

If this man actually said these things to his daughter, he didn't need her to humiliate him; nothing could do it more brutally than his own words.

And every touchy feely liberal I know is rushing to his defense. They blame Basinger who probably is stirring the pot but that doesn’t excuse him one bit.
My parents fought like that for 13 years until their divorce but neither one of them ever directed their anger at my sisters or myself.
