BLACKSBURG, Va. -- The suspected gunman in the Virginia Tech shooting rampage, Cho Seung-Hui, was a troubled 23-year-old senior from South Korea who investigators believe left an invective-filled note in his dorm room, sources say.
The note included a rambling list of grievances and ended with the words "Ismail Ax" in red ink on the inside of one of his arms.

Has it ever crossed your mind, even for a brief moment, that people who use and are prescribed anti-psychotic drugs, are as a result, assumed to be psychotic?????
Did you read this article?
Primary care doctors prescribe SSRI-antidepressants to millions of adults, adolescents and children, certainly not only for treatment of depression anymore. SSRIs are prescribed for school phobias, bed wetting, eating disorders, sleep disturbances (insomnia), nail biting, hair pulling, headache, gambling addiction, alcohol addiction, back pain, stomach upset, premenstrual syndrome, etc., and even to feel better then well. SSRIs have become all purpose feel good pills, nowadays, in the year 2000. Unfortunately many doctors are unaware of the major consequences and some of them dont even seem to care. They argue that the positive effects of SSRIs far outweigh their negative effects. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Isn’t Ishmael the “wanderer” in Moby Dick who was covered in tatoos???
Not at all. But I think some of the posts here have gone a bit around the bend. And I also think that some here will not believe it even if there is overwhelming evidence that he is just a troubled young man.
The fires are a pretty strong indicator of mental illness.
It’s not the prozac that causes the rampage. It’s the fact that the Prozac does not work and the mental condition continues untreated.
Katherine Herridge on Fox said that there were some type of criminal charges pending against Cho, but she didn’t know yet what the incident involved, only saying that there was a hearing scheduled for some time early in May in regards to that specific incident.
-I agree, however it’s still something definitely worth looking further into. Reuters is reporting that Cho moved to the US in 1992, that leaves plenty of time for Cho to have assimilated into Islamic fundamentals.
Axiom system is also called AX
“What if this killer is actually a muslim terrorist carrying out the orders of his imam?”
In terms of security re jihaddis, you have asked exactly the right question!
This kid might or might not have been a moozie convert. Never mind that, unless it is shown that he was.
Instead focus on how easily he did this. Also focus on the meticulous attention being given to details of why this why not that in his movements and lack of any apparent competency in security before or during the acts.
Now imagine a dozen or two moozie cells in the US (many of whom are currently students at Universities that they know intimately) watching all of this, making notes, etc.
Finally, imagine a dozen or more pairs of jihaddis replicating this either singly or in pairs or very small groups on campuses they already know well......perhaps on September 11....or even Apr 19
I’ll bet that the vast majority of murderers have never taken any antidepressants. I’ll bet though that the majority of them have eaten carrots. Therefore according to your logic, it’s the carrots.
You missed what I said. The shooters stopped their prozac and THEN went postal.
I’m not a chemist, I only know what I’ve read.
The prozac does work, as long as you keep taking it. You stop, and all hell breaks loose with your body chemistry.
So I’ve read.
Really!
And just how do you prove that.
back in my day, there was a rash of kids who offed themselves in all sorts of imaginative ways. Not a single dose of anti-psycotic medication was used or available at the time. Crazie's were warehoused in what we affectionately called "Nut-houses" and this anomaly is and has been common since public schools were invented.
Now tell me again how these drugs are solely responsible and there is a direct linkage.
And "Korean" has just one letter different from "Koran".
Coincidence?
I THINK NOT!!!
I read he had a speeding ticket—driving 44 in a 25mph zone and had a hearing scheduled for that in May.
That is exactly why the terror angle has to be looked at.
-I came across this site earlier and found it to be of interest; however there is still somewhat of an appearance discrepancy between the man calling himself “ismael ax” on the webpage to that of the media released photos of Cho.
I did however 'google': "Cho Seung-Hui islam" and found some interesting articles.
Maybe
Polynomials and Axiom system combined?
Yeah, on prozac and had a history of setting a dorm fire and stalking females. Why the heck was the guy in school in the first place?
That’s gonna be hard to connect.
In Korea, islam is almost non existant.
Christianity is big, but not islam.
OTH, it is possible that this kid got converted. He was here since 14, so he was probably more American than Korean.
Apparently, “Ismail ax” translates from French into “Ismail center”. What might that mean?
