April is historically a bad month. I’ve always found that strange. Wars stop & start, people go postal, etc. Must by something in the spring air.
Tax season.
Tax time.
Yup, you’re correct.
April 19 especially. Lexington green, Baltimore riots/mob attack of “Union” troops, etc.
Generally, Lincoln was killed, Titanic went down; and of course recently all this Waco/OK stuff.
All in this “teen” week. I only find out now that Hitler’s birthday is the 20th.

It’s tax time and people are going crazy trying to figure out the tax code.
You are right about spring being a historically bad month.
I remember back in jr. and high school that there was always a significant rise in school violence. Fights were happening all te time.
April 19th coming up ... seems to provoke outburts. Prayers for safety this year.

I noticed this in April 1996 when the Valu Jet crashed in the swamp. It was the 2d April in a row that a tragedy happened. The April before that, the OK City bombing happened. A few Aprils later came Columbine. Now this murder spree at Tech.
APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
