I think FOX may have talked to them earlier, just referencing them as students. They were talking to a female student (Ashley Sammon, maybe) and then they went to a male student, also with the last name of Sammon. I thought that seemed odd at the time.
Anyone else remember this?

ONE OTHER THING. ANOTHER TRAGEDY, NOW THE NEWS AND GOVENORS ETC.. ALL WANT US TO OFFER OUR PRAYERS FOR THOSE HURT. I AGREE, HOWEVER THESE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE THAT DON’T WANT US TO TALK ABOUT PRAYING ANY OTHER TIME. A LITTLE PROACTIVE PRAYER PROBABLY WOULD HAVE FAR GREATER BENEFITS THEN ANY LEGISLATION OR POST TRAGEDY PRAYING WILL DO.
All lifeline Trucks are going to clear. Apparently there are no more emergent patients that need transport out.
(sigh) I think this means that the rest of the casualties are either walking wounded or dead.
Listening to KNX News Radio here in L.A., and some blowhard is talking about campus “security procedures” and how important it is for students to be aware of them.
Now he’s babbling on and on about “grief counseling” !
I swear, these people are divorced from reality!
Didn’t earlier reports say that the professor was older? Might be fantasy of old profs, but not likely to wake up in co-eds bed. (Those Penthouse stories are not necessarily true.) ;^)
I bet they are happy that “gun free school” designation that they had limited the carnage.

Actually, the team covers the campus and the federal buildings (National Judicial College and Courts) that adjoin it. I’m not overreacting, just reporting what we have. As far as I’m aware that team has never been activated but should there be a problem in a federal building I assume they would be activated.

My enduring image of a SWAT team in action is the one(s) that responded to the Columbine HS Shootings. The SWAT teams hiding behind the fire trucks until the shooting stopped.
I have a good fried who’s a former SWAT team leader for a major PD and he was absolutely appalled by the response at Columbine.
Rush just said ABC now reporting 29 fatalities.
