Ritual-washing area for Muslims at MCTC may be only the beginning

Last week, I wrote about Minneapolis Community and Technical College, which is planning to install facilities to help Muslim students perform ritual washing before daily prayers. It's a simple matter of extending "hospitality" to newcomers, says President Phil Davis -- no different than providing a fish option in the college cafeteria for Christian students during Lent. MCTC is apparently the first public institution in Minnesota to enter this unfamiliar territory. Where is it looking for guidance?

This seems like a facility built with tax dollars, that is exclusive to only one group of people. When a Cafeteria serves Fish on Friday it serves other foods too, and anyone can eat the Fish wether they are Catholic or not, Will anyone be able to use these Shower Facilities? Equal Shower Rights for All!

This is the story posted right above this one. As I continue to read, I will undoubtedly run across stories that detail the banishment of the phrase, “Global War on Terror” or something about our Congressmembers flocking to the MidEast on the taxpayers’ dime. As for the Muslims, they should get nothing in the U.S. We are at war with them. Let them demand a footbath in their own sand dune of origin. See where that gets them.

Also, the Muslim students are striking for prayer rooms at the Northwestern U’s football stadium. Why can’t anyone see that the Muslims are targeting places where very large groups of people congregate? Hurry up and forget about the suicide bomber outside the Oklahoma football stadium. 60K+ in attendance the day that “convert” blew himself up. Appalling.

What's next -- every single meal at the cafeteria must offer a halal meal, a kosher meal, a vegan meal, a vegetarian meal, a barbecue meal (that's my religion...nothing but barbecue)??
