I’ve got Fox News on. I grew up in Wisconsin and know all too well the power of tornadoes. Prayers for Texas.

You get into a safe place and stay there til this stuff is over.

I've seen that green sky too, you want to be away from windows and preferably in a nice sturdy basement (in the SW corner).

20 Miles east of Dallas, a bit scary with some rotation noted 10 miles west. Thanks for your prayers.

You said — “Major damage being reported...Tornado moving into the City of Dallas at this time.”

Wow! Now I know what that siren was... :-)

I heard it and had never heard it before around here, and I thought to myself, “Isn’t that a tornado siren?” But, I never did anything about it. Good for me it didn’t come by here...

But, there’s one place where I hear tornado sirens all the time and that’s in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’ve been back and forth between Dallas and Tulsa and I almost always hear a tornado siren or hear a report of one dropping down somewhere close by. That’s one busy place for tornadoes, up there...

Regards,
Star Traveler

Looks like the brunt will pass through Dallas county into Rockwall going SW to SE? the little square at 2 o clock from Dallas is Rockwall county.

This will have the global warming alarmists going wild and proclaiming that their predictions are right this year. They’ll just ignore last year.

No doubt by the time late news airs, they’ll have a global warming “expert’s” opinion ready. Expect this to be the norm for the rest of the tornado and hurricane season.

The local Fox station appears to be off the air. The other local stations have been breaking up from time to time but are still on.

Looks worse the more maps that are posted. Sheesh. Take care over there. It looks (and feels) like it (storm not t-nado) is coming overhead now. i'm going off line to make sure the family is OK. Be back in a few minutes.

yeah, no one has basements there.

when we lived there we asked people “what do u do if a tornado comes?”

they said “nothing”

they take their chances and no one thinks its going to get them...and they live in tornado alley!!
