True - it's just a mode of transportation. Some are just more fun to drive than others.

I was listening to the Laura Ingraham radio show today and they were talking about how some cars are girly cars and some are manly cars. Laura was particularly mentioning that the Mazda Miata was a girly car. This was news to me. Her assisitant chimed in with saying the Mazda 3 was a girly car. This was also news to me. I'm in the market for a new car and was thinking of buying the MAzda 3 or a Miata. I've been told that the 3 has fewer service issues than other Mazda cars.
Of course one would gather that the manly cars would be trucks.
One girly car I've noticed is the VW Beetle. I've never seen a man driving one of those.
What do Freepers think? What cars are girly cars and what cars are manly cars.
I drove a Saturn with my ex girlfriend in college from Philly to Ames IA. I had just enough leg room that my knees hit the steering wheel.

It is a fun car. But compared to my motorcycle, it is not quite fun enough. I think I will be getting a pickup for hauling stuff to the house.

An acquaintance of mine, who is heterosexual, just bought an Outback. I gave her some good natured ribbing about it and she said that I wasn’t the only one to tell her that she’s driving a les-mobile.
I don’t know - I’m a girl who’s driven a Dodge most of her life.
Right now, I want a Hummer, a BIG Hummer - cause I can’t legally drive a tank!!

I’ve never heard that. From all I’ve read, the Miata is considered a copy of a Lotus Elan.
Miata, VW Beetle, PT Cruiser, BMW roadster, Camry Solara, all girly girl cars.....especially the VW Beetle.
Old folks seem to like that boxy thing as well.

There's a HUGE difference between a Mini Cooper and the Mini Cooper "S".
Just bought one with the John Cooperworks package.
It's essentially a go cart with leather seats that screams.
I've never had more fun driving anything.
Women tend to like buying Saturns because there is no negotiating on the price . . it’s easier for them.
I own and restored a 69 Beetle. Ahhh the memories although I do get looks when blaring “Born To Be Wild” when driving through town!!

The world's greatest car . . my father used to drive this.
1953 Dodge Coronet, it kind of looks like one of those bumper cars at the amusement park.
My hubby just got a Dodge Ram 1500. (he had the last one stolen in 1994, after owning it only two months and has pined for it since)
On the way home, my nine and seven year old girls, being girls, wanted to name the truck.
I said, “Dad, what do you want to name it?”
He said, “Big Ass Truck.”
(must be a guy thing)
