President Bush will speak on immigration reform.
Yes as a matter of fact I was. That was the biggest mistake Reagan ever made. I've watched that mistake intensify from ground zero, since it's inception.
Our current crop of politicians, including the President are determined to make the same mistake, all the while trying to convince us the result will be different.
And you know that ... how???
To suggest that people that use Reagan in their screen name bash Bush more often is ludicrous. I don't agree with Bush on spending and immigration no matter what you think about it or what my screen name is. To think that I have to agree with Bush on every single issue or I'm a basher is just silly.
yea, well I also gave up sweets too...but I digress...again. LOL
Thanks.
AMNESTY NO MATTER HOW MUCH LIPSTICK HE TRIES TO PUT ON THIS PIG.
I made a couple of accurate posts, and it's time to leave.
I'd rather have toothpicks stuck up my fingernails than read the garbage that has been, and is going to be posted on this thread.
All you need to know is that President George W. Bush is evil and the worst man to ever occupy the Oval Office.
There it is in a nutshell. No need to go to DU now, nor read this thread. They all feel the same way.
(Civil and rational discussions on this topic haven't been possible on FR for years).
king: "a person or thing preeminent in its class"
That's the definition that my name refers to. Not a monarch.
Given the massive immigration, legal and illegal, that we've experienced in the last 20 years, it is probably a good idea to have a moratorium on all immigration for at least a few years. We could work towards unity as Americans, and more social cohesion. "E Pluribus Unum."
Of course, the "diversity" Establishment would never allow this, since America is all about celebrating "difference" these days. Or else.
CSPAN 1 streamer indicates that they will be covering the Bush speech in Yuma shortly.

President Bush will relaunch his push for an overhaul of the nation's immigration laws today in Arizona, with a fresh speech on the border and a new congressional leadership that is friendlier to his views, but with the same dynamics that scuttled his last attempt: a cooperative Senate but bipartisan opposition in the House.
In contrast to her approach to other controversial issues, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has told the White House that she cannot pass a bill with Democratic votes alone, nor will she seek to enforce party discipline on the issue. Bush will have to produce at least 70 Republican votes before she considers a vote on comprehensive immigration legislation, a task that may be very difficult for a president saddled with low approval ratings.
Democratic conservatives, particularly freshmen who seized their seats from Republicans, weathered a barrage of attacks on the issue before their victories in November and are not anxious to relive the experience, aides and lawmakers say. Some of those lawmakers, such as Reps. Nancy Boyda (Kan.), Brad Ellsworth (Ind.), Nick Lampson (Tex.) and Heath Shuler (N.C.), are implacably opposed to a bill that would grant any of the nation's estimated 12 million illegal immigrants legal residence or citizenship, at least until new border controls are implemented and working.
Didn't Jimmy Kimmel or Jay Leno do that? They took a clip of Pres. Bush doing an interview with someone (Neil Cavuto I think) and superimposed 3 illegals floating by in an innertube in the background.
And I didn't suggest that everyone put Reagan in their screenname to bash Bush, but if you deny that the enemy is using Reagan against Bush as are some on this very forum, you're a touch naive.
btw, I never said anything about your having to agree with Bush on every issue. The silliness here is clearly not coming from me.....
"thank you for coming...COYOTES!"
end of speech
And whatever you do, don’t tell Charlie that President Gerald Ford was once a “King”.
“Ive made the jello shooters, one for every time he says Jobs Americans wont do or the equivalent code language.”
You might add “KyOteys” that is said in his best Tex-Mex accent to your list of jello shooters consumption triggers.
Any bets he will be wearing his “common people” blue shirt?
We need to change our legal immigration policies as well. We are taking in more than a million people a year and most of those are the result of chain migration, which reduces the diversity of immigrants and leads to problems of assimilation and balkanization.

So you are saying that enforcement is only going to get better after they get their so called guest worker/amnesty plus program.
My statement, however over the top, illustrates the point that our leaders hearts are just not in arresting illegals and those who employ them, and that once the opposition compromises enough for them to get what they want, the little effort being made now will deflate substantially.
After the bill passes, you can get back to me and tell me how absolutely off track I am.
