Man Faces Deportion After Fatal Crash of Bob Clark

A Mexican national accused of causing the crash that killed "A Christmas Story" director Bob Clark and his son will face deportation proceedings once the charges against him are resolved, officials said Thursday.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement put an immigration hold Wednesday on Hector Velazquez-Nava, a 24-year-old illegal immigrant living in Los Angeles, said agency spokeswoman Virginia Kice.

The action means Velazquez-Nava will be turned over to federal immigration officials and placed in deportation proceedings once his local case is completed. He was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol and gross vehicular manslaughter, and was being held on $100,000 bail in a county jail.

Why deport him now? He will only be allowed to cross the border again. He should be imprisoned.

People only employ sensible risk management in their lives when they have something to protect. If they have money, property, etc. When they have little or nothing which is the case with most illegals why not drink and drive? As we can see if you get drunk and kill someone there is really no penalty so why not get wasted and drive?

I've thought about this illegal thing for some time. I really wonder if since we are an aging society and have something like 77 trillion in unfunded monies going to the retirment of the bay boomers that peopel like George Bush wnt to let millions of illegals in. Then make them legal and tax their income. If I'm right the problem is that since most of the people are pretty worthless as far as making money they have to let a large number in to make the math work.

Besides this I think that the WOT is bogus since we have not shut down our borders.

All in all, the fact that this murdering cretin was an illegal alien was about as hard to predict as, say, 2+2=4.

Cold-blooded as it may sound, it is my most sincere hope that someone *really important* or the family member(s) of someone *really important* get killed this way; maybe then something, however small, will be done.

At the very least, it will better enable our elites to "feel our pain".
