Our new manager had a son in Iraq last year, in the reserves. He was in a road-side bombing incident, but was one of the lucky ones! Five of his buddies weren’t so lucky...=\

Well I have to say that my place of work does care about the troops and Veterans and their families by donating for care packages or adding additional minutes to phone cards purchased for our Troops over seas and other things.
So it was nice to hear that we as employees now openly can show our support for our Troops.
Not that it mattered to me whether I can or not.
I’ve always done it out in the open and thanked a soldier when he/she was in the store and I get a chance.;)
