still praying and rejoicing in the news that was not expected!
Praying with you for Gina, Taz .. Our Dear Lord is right there. May He be with her medical team, granting her His healing mercy, and comforting you and your family. Tough to wait, I know. Hugs.
You are are still in thought and prayer.
She is out of recovery and on telemetry.
She was under anesthesia for about 6 1/2 hrs.
Incision on both legs. 3 drains.
Right now she is on a self directed Morphine PCA.
She is alert but dopey.
Both legs are warm with good pulses. Praise God for his mercy. Praise God for the skill of the surgeons.
She is having muscle cramps that just about put her on the ceiling with pain .
She was having those before surgery too.
Her vital signs are very good.
Thank all of you so very much.
With God , the author of life and the source of healing, all things are possible.
We still don’t have a pathology report but we have prayed up one miracle already.
I am on my knees in prayers of Gratitude.
Among the things I am grateful for is the prayer community among FReepers. You are my other family.

When my wife lost her Father over Christmas, the people here at FR prayed for the family and for his soul. I have never and God willing will never forget that kindness.
There are some wonderful people in this world and I think many of them are right here on FR.

Is she able to get more pain meds for the cramping so she can be more comfortable.

That is such good news! I know it must be such a relief to all of you to have that hurdle behind you.
Giving thanks for the wonderful blessings, and continuing in prayer for Gina’s complete recovery to good health.
God is great! Wow! I was very concerned about that. (I wonder how much venous growth, dilation, whatever can happen to compensate fro increased demand/load/whatever.)
One of my daughter's elementary/middle schoolmates has some cerebro-vascular abnormality which has lead to one stroke already (at age 23) and has that time-bomb aspect. He was operated on this AM. A completely lovely young man. Parents split up, mom wanted to find herself, and I scarcely was able to hold myself back from suggesting that if she shaved her armpits, who knows, maybe she's hiding in there ....
It's a good thing God is patient and all, otherwise He'd be saying, "What ELSE does Mad Dawg want?"
This PM we heard about the Magnificat, how it is a song of reversals, and how it is GOD who pulls these things off, not us. It is HARD to stay with Him and to give all our cares to Him when so much seems so dreadfully awry. But He fills the hungry with good things, He lifts up the lowly. He just doesn't pay much attention to my time-table, is all.

Sounds like an aneurysm...They are a time bomb but there are a bunch of new techniques to fix them.
Catching them early is the biggest part of the equation.
How is your BIL doing.
