Our Mission: is to influence current and prospective viewers of The View to not watch the program until Rosie O'Donnell is replaced.
Our Reason: for calling this boycott is to raise awareness of the anti-American rhetoric being displayed in the mainstream media today. We aim to show Disney-ABC (and all other media outlets) that we, as American citizens, will not tolerate an anti-American individual occupying national airtime.
Our Method: comes in the form of an online petition. We ask for your support in signing this petition, proving to Disney-ABC that they are losing a significant portion of consumers.
Emailed Sears-anyway to do all at once? Hit them in the pocket book and they might not think Rosie O’Fat is such a media darling!

I tend to agree. The public needs to see and hear what the “kook left” is saying.
What I think is funny is that Walters’ reputation is ruined. By her allowing this “kook” takeover of her program, she is acknowledging she agrees with Rosie.
No, they want the money, power and ratings no matter how degrading it may be.

The problem is the petition is directed at people who watch the View - ratings are good for the program -i.e. there are enough supporters to sustain it.
Different tactics would be needed and I’m not convinced those tactics would be wise - people have a right to say stupid hurtful things about the government and if one voice is suppressed it just makes a martyr out of a clown.
The alley-rats like Rosie unrelentingly hammer at every mote and beam in the conservatives' eyes even as they betray their country.....no matter how big or little the issue is.
Too many conservatives then bend over and exclaim from their lofty heights, "let her rant, we're so much better than she, and we support free speech, blah, blah......".
I support free speech also.
In that vein, I say stick it to Tokyo Rosie everyway including up.
Kudos to the folks who started this petition, whether it's minor or not. They've actually taken a fight-back stance rather than assuming the posterior position like a lot of keyboard warriors who talk from the clouds or criticize.......but actually participate in nothing.
I support leaders like the Minutemen, the Swifties and those who actually wade headlong into controversial issues. And those who boldly take on treasonous morons like this broad broad who, almost without challenge, seduces the ignorant every afternoon.
Right on, "StopRosie.com"! The petitions WILL have some effect. After all, it already has had some effect because it made the pages here on FR.

All the attention being given to Rosie will only have the opposite effect in the short term. Ratings for the show go up, advertisers happy, Rosie becomes even more famous. We’ve seen it dozens of times with different people.
Gravity is still a law, though, and Rosie will ultimately fall to earth. Best to be elsewhere when that happens.
