I just came from a trip to Germany and I have never met more friendly folks in my travels. That's why I'm puzzeled when I see polls like this. Oh well, I'm wondering how the questions were asked in this poll.

This comes to you direct from the country and people who gave us two world wars, over 100 million deaths as a results of those wars. Billions upon billions of dollars spent fighting those wars. Considering the aggressive German war-mongerings of the last century against the world and coupled with their genuflection to socialism and march toward demographic self-annihilation, I'm rather glad they don't care for us.

I, like millions of other Americans, was stationed in Germany. For many of us, it was our first time outside of the U.S., or North America. Some of us came to love Germany, and remember it fondly and dearly. I do. Some of us went right from Vietnam to Germany, before even going home. It was our first "real world" memory, after the war, and is permanently etched in our mind.

It hurts to have a Country you love, hate the Country you grew up in, live in, and love with all of your heart.

And let's not overlook the same mentality we have, right here at home. I fault the EU, france and, our own democraps for most of it.

The Germans will, too, at some future point.
