President Bush visited soldiers and Marines at the physical therapy wing of Walter Reed Army Center in Washington today. Afterwards, the president spoke at Walter Reeds Red Cross Hall, praising the doctors and nurses for their extraordinary care of the troops and promising that the problems found in the center--and the bureaucracy--will soon be fixed. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met with Guinea-Bissau Foreign Minister Antonio Isaac Monteiro and Brazil's Foreign Minister Celso Amorim at the State Department in Washington.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
Wow, what a great video! I downloaded it, but couldn't get it to play.. What am I missing. When I tried Real player it wanted DVX or something like that... Windows media player sent me to find the program that was used to make it. It decided Irfanview was needed, but that didn't work either. Anyone else try to download and play it. Maybe my computer is just the problem.
You need Flash Player, you can download it here

There is such love and respect on the President's face as he's greeting that soldier!
Oh, look at that gorgeous Japanese Magnolia off the porch of the White House! They are one of my favorite specimen trees!
Somehow, I don't think the soldiers felt that way.
All you have to do is see the President's face to know that he doesn't consider these visits a photo-op at all.
Just watched your special "video" and all I can say is WOW!!! . . . THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH both for making it and for sharing it with us!!
Have I mentioned lately just how much I love our President and his beautiful First Lady?!
Heh. Nothing like combat zone humor!
Thanks so much for posting this, so we all had the chance to read what this fine man had to say!
Excellent, MUST SEE movie with MANY parallels to our current war!!
I'd heard from many FReepers that it was very good. Don't know if I'll see it on the big screen. I might wait until it comes out in DVD and watch it on our LCD. It's a nice size, not too large. From the previews, I don't know if I'd like those special effects as much in LARGE format.
This is definitely a movie to see in a theater; just be prepared for lots of violence and some gratuitous 'boob' shots!
It's getting late; time to say goodnight!
The video was great!
Wonderful dose Jonny lovely photos great to see the President with the little one again.
Thanks
Great video
Thanks
